I'm calling Reps. John Lewis, Andre Carson, Emanuel Cleaver and the news media liars. Despicable liars. It's been nealy 48 hours since the three Democrat Congressmen made their claims that they were called "n*****" by Tea Party protesters.
The trio described a scene straight out of Bull Connor as they walked through protesters on Capitol Hill, claiming that a "chorus" of voices chanted "n*****" fifteen times at them.
With all the news media on the Hill, with all the protesters and liberal operatives on the Hill with video recorders and cellphone video devices there is no proof that has been presented. There are not even any 'earwitness' reports. Just the word of three Democrat politicans.
I know the Tea Party crowd. I've stood with them in Florida and D.C. at several rallies. I've never seen or heard the behavior claimed by the Democrats. I've never seen or heard that behavior in the hundreds of Free Republic rallies and protests I've participated in.
Is the cliche 'there's one in every crowd' true? Yes. We saw that with the recorded isolated incidents of Barney Frank being taunted for his homosexuality. But it wasn't a chorus and the person who said it was quickly admonished by other protesters.
The news media has gleefully smeared the Tea Party protesters without asking for proof of these outrageous charges of racism. Democrats lie, politicans lie. Race hoaxes are sadly commonplace. Where's the proof for this one? Nowhere.

Thousands of cameras, media, camera phone, etc, and yet not one picture or audio clip. Amazing......
Liberal liars always report being threatened and persecuted because this paints them as victim/hero. Next, their lips will be turning blue.
It worked for Jim Webb - never ‘misunderestimate’ the Dem’s capacity for prevarication and obfuscation. Remember the 11th hour revelation about a candidate’s DWI? The Dems are despicable @$$holes. This is all straight out of Alinsky’s playbook.
They don’t need proof... it’s out there now by the more-than-accomodating media... the story will never be revisited or refuted. It has served it’s purpose. It was planned... walking out in the public... arm in arm... ta-dah...Dem-Kabuki.
Methinks he hears what he wants (or in this case, expects) to hear.
There is no proof because it didn’t happen.
These people are playing their game again. Same old senario. Distract and lie.
Haven’t seen any evidence of the spitting incident either.
ABC had a video of the Barney Fwank incident, but the part where the offensive comment is supposed to be is bleeped-out.
Then Nancy has her little hand holding parade the next day trying to provoke another incident, but it didn’t work.
Tucker Carlson just said the same thing on Joe Scarborough’s radio show...that it’s all a big lie until he sees the tape. Because there has to be a tape with all the cameras that were around.
Could a troublemaker from SEIU or some other Union been inserted in the Tea Party to create these disturbisments?

You are apparently unfamiliar with the technique known as “Proof by Assertion”.
It is a legal principle generally only applied in cases of rape and hate crimes.
They ARE despicable. And they lie more than they tell the truth. It isn’t the game that matters to them- it is the result.
I personally have called them nincompoops...and proud of it.
Agree that you need to pin the media down on this. BUT, even if a crowd of thousands included one dumba$$ who DID use a slur, that doesn’t mean the Tea Party is racist, and we must be careful not to pin everything on “no slurs were ever uttered by anyone, ever ever.”
When it comes to nooses, being smeared with fecal matter, carved words in your forehead, Lacrosse teams, stuck accelerators, or claims of the use of politically incorrect language, etc. “alleged” does not apply...
