I'm from the north I do. eg. Rotten teeth and guys sitting on the toilet. I doubt the "good naturedness" of this video.

I've been to Detroit and it's really bad, but I never noticed any shantytowns.
Gee, you found a picture of one the neighborhoods where it appears people still live. I don't know how a city that far down comes back.
