13 STATES FILE LAWSUIT AGAINST HEALTH CARE BILL

Attorneys general from 13 states sued the federal government Tuesday, claiming the landmark health care overhaul bill is unconstitutional just seven minutes after President Barack Obama signed it into law.

The lawsuit was filed in Pensacola after the Democratic president signed the bill the House passed Sunday night.

We’re still waiting for word from our AG here in Illinois..........crickets chirping..........

Oh well, my wife and I wanted to some day retire a little bit away from where we are now in the SW burbs of Chicago. Maybe we’ll end up in a western or southwestern state.

Well, they won’t have any choice, will they.

The marxists are like vampires, and court decisions and elections do not kill them.

The only way to stop them is to expose them for what they are and stop allowing themselves to hide behind labels like "progressive"

In the meantime we can boycott gay Frisco, since they keep Pelosi in congress:

We will never be able to defeat Pelosi, the Mafafi witch, due to the love affair between her and the gay agenda pushers/voters in Gay Frisco.

However, Gay Frisco can be brought to its financial knees.

Gay Frisco is having a severe economic meltdown due to the benefits for union thugs and illegals.

If every American Adult, who dislikes the Health Care farce pushed on us by Pelosi, boycotted San Francisco re visits, meetings and products, we can make that liberal gay hell hole a miserable place to live and try to work in.

They anticipated lawsuits in the bill:

Section 155
If any provision of this division, or any application of such provision to any person or circumstance, is held to be unconstitutional, the remainder of the provisions of this division and the application of the provision to any other person or circumstance shall not be affected.

In other words, it looks like a suit has to be filed on every part of the bill to kill it. It can't be killed as a whole.

11 plus sympathetic parts of three more: Kentucky, Missouri and Maryland.

New York City was also full of southern sympathizers, but for reasons due more to economics than politics.

There were also pockets of Union sympathisizers in the Confederate States, notably Virginia (the parts which became West Virginia), Tennessee (Knoxville area) and North Carolina (Greensboro area).

Ayup. I commend Bill McCollum because this suit is in federal court, and provides a forum to challenge a clearly unconstitutional act. And let us remember, that discovery (the seeking of information) in such a suit can be very broad indeed.

We should all write to these attorneys general giving them our support. There will be tremendous pressure on them and their families and supporters.

Don’t get any hopes up. This is not only uphill, it’s a huge long shot. To think any court will find this unconstitutional, I have three words for those who hope for it: Campaign Finance Reform (even though the Supremes did a good job recently with that, but look at how long it took to undercut a bad decision). Trying to pin hopes on a court is ridiculous.

A court is likely to say that since this was voted upon by elected members of Congress, the “people” were not denied anything. They were in fact “represented” by their elected representatives.

That, in and of itself, is unconstitutional, as the Constitution applies itself equally to every citizen, regardless of provision or circumstance of the individual.

The libs have to be awfully dumb. You have a huge bunch of people who know their history, are well armed and are rallying around the idea that their present government is borderline tyrannical. So then the libs go ahead and shove something down the throats of the citizens in a tyrannical manner and believe that the citizens are just going to lump it.

They are in for a big surprise.
