FOR: Big Pharma, insurance companies, communists.

AGAINST: lovers of freedom, doctors who own their own practice, the majority of Americans.

Big Pharma, insurance companies, communists.

That's what irritates me the most. Obama went out and attacked insurers and pharmaceutical companies, talking like he was going to bring those big evil companies down and the useful idiots believed it.

Instead what happened was we have all been firmly placed under the thumb of those the left was "bringing down".

All I've got to say to the left is "Good job morons, under capitalism you had a choice of paying or not paying those companies. Now they're government contractors with millions of new customers and the IRS acting as enforcer."

AMA - American Medical Association - was for it.

Obama tried to make a big deal about it - but only 17% of Doctors belong to the AMA. Most Dr's were against it.

Friend of mine said he knows about 30 doctors in the State of Washington [one specific town - not Seattle - a much smaller town!] that are considering quiting the practice of medicine when HC becomes implemented.

The health insurance company my hubby works for is NOT for this. Obama just wanted us to think they were ALL for this monstrosity.

My wife works for a very large HMO. They don't want it either, but short-term, private insurers will make more money until the cost of insuring patients with pre-existing conditions makes people dump their coverage.
