Rep. Dingell: It’s taken a long time to ‘control the people’
american thinker ^ | 3/23/10 | Peter Barry Chowka

Rep. John Dingell (D-MI), the Dean of the House of Representatives for being the longest serving member of the body (he was first elected in 1955, succeeding his father, Rep. John Dingell, Sr.), made an amazing admission during a live telephone interview with Detroit WJR News/Talk 760 radio talk show host Paul W. Smith on Smith's show Monday morning, March 22, 2010. The night before, Dingell had been a featured speaker at the Democrat Congressional leadership victory press conference after Obamacare passed the House.

In response to a question posed by Smith, Dingell said:

Let me remind you this [Americans allegedly dying because of lack of universal health care] has been going on for years. We are bringing it to a halt. The harsh fact of the matter is when you're going to pass legislation that will cover 300 [million] American people in different ways it takes a long time to do the necessary administrative steps that have to be taken to put the legislation together to control the people.

DC is not in control of the land I am standing on. My ancestral North American roots have been traced prior to the existence of DC. My guess is that they are currently only in control of about 13 of the 57 states worth of population that Obama thinks he controls. So the Historical original 13 colony/star O flag more accurately represents Obama’s America.

I can’t state it enough... these people are TRAITORS. They sold their countrymen into enslavement. Pure, unmittigated evil.

Never, never, never forget what happened this week! Remember these faces. They are the mortal enemies of freedom. May they burn in hell for all eternity.

Anyone can tell that it is about control and not about insuring the uninsured. Making EVERYONE fall in line instead of expanding medicaid coverage to those who want it is the giveaway.

Also postponing when the “help” is coming reveals it isn’t about people.

50 million+ dead from abortion also tells us it isn’t about “saving lives”.

Encouraging abortion to “reduce the number of people in public healthcare” also shows it isn’t about promoting a long life to everyone.

There will be rationing. It begins at birth. Some aren’t “worthy” according to the libs.

Doctors and care will have to go black market.

The fools never realized that about 1/4 to 1/3 of the entire economic market already was Black prior to their move to socialism. So now they find themselves near bust. Fools one and all. The dollar will experience its fastest collapse in history very soon now. That can be the only logical result from this stupidity.

Ronald Reagan warned us long before he sought public office:

In this country of ours, took place the greatest revolution that has ever taken place in the world’s history; the only true revolution. Every other revolution simply exchanged one set of rulers for another. But here, for the first time in all the thousands of years of man’s relations to man, a little group of men, the founding fathers, for the first time, established the idea that you and I had within ourselves the God given right and ability to determine our own destiny. This freedom was built into our government with safeguards. We talk democracy today, and strangely, we let democracy begin to assume the aspect of majority rule is all that is needed. The “majority rule” is a fine aspect of democracy provided there are guarantees written in to our government concerning the rights of the individual and of the minorities.

What can we do about this? Well, you and I can do a great deal. We can write to our congressmen and to our senators. We can say right now that we want no further encroachment on these individual liberties and freedoms. And at the moment, the key issue is, we do not want socialized medicine...

You and I can do this. The only way we can do it is by writing to our congressmen even we believe that he’s on our side to begin with. Write to strengthen his hand. Give him the ability to stand before his colleagues in Congress and say that he has heard from my constituents and this is what they want. Write those letters now call your friends and them to write.

If you don’t, this program I promise you, will pass just as surely as the sun will come up tomorrow and behind it will come other federal programs that will invade every area of freedom as we have known it in this country until one day as Normal Thomas said we will wake to find that we have socialism, and if you don’t do this and I don’t do this, one of these days we are going to spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children, what it once was like in America when men were free.

Let me remind you this [Americans allegedly dying because of lack of universal health care] has been going on for years. We are bringing it to a halt.

Now, people will be free of dying from the lack of universal health care.

Now, they can die because of it!

Rep. Tom Perriello (D-Va.) ‘If you don’t tie our hands, we’ll keep stealing’

Rep. John Dingell (D-MI) It’s taken a long time to ‘control the people’

Here’s one for the Godless Commucrats.

Deuteronomy 32:35 ‘Vengeance is Mine, and retribution, In due time their foot will slip; For the day of their calamity is near, And the impending things are hastening upon them.’

listening to the libtards in our congress over this past week makes me wonder why our Founders didn't place a requirement of a basic literacy and IQ test for those seeking a position in the Legislature

Uh, maybe because IQ tests didn't exist in their day. Just sayin...

You have to remember that, in the late 1700's when the Constitution as being written, only prominent, educated men rose to become leaders in their colonies/states. Most were landed gentry -- gentlemen as the word was meant then. There was a code of honor among gentlemen, and the Founders' expectations were that Congress would be comprised of gentlemen of honor who would always answer to the people (house) and the states (senators). Like all human beings, they could not foretell the future very far beyond their own times.

In hindsight, I wish with all my heart the Founders had written term limits into the Constitution. They didn't because, in their day, no man wanted to make a career of being in Congress. They all had families, businesses, land and farms to return to, usually significant distances and many days travel from Philadelphia and New York (when the early government resides there).

Open a doctor’s office accross the Mexican border, and they can eat crow. You can get a tax free zone in Mexico and heal Mexicans. And we shall see how that NAFTA fascist crap works out for them if they start attacking that.

IDIOTAS ALL OF THEM
