Sarah Palin endorses Rick Perry; Dick Cheney endorses Kay Bsiley Hutchison.
Sarah Palin endorses Rand Paul; Dick Cheney endorses Trey Grayson.

There is a huge difference between endorsing Rand Paul and Cheney endorsing Kay Bailey — you should be able to see the difference.
Palin donated to Paul but she never really endorsed. The endorsement of Kay Bailey by Cheney made no sense.

There is a huge difference between endorsing Rand Paul and Cheney endorsing Kay Bailey you should be able to see the difference. They're both RINOs. One voted for the bailout, one has collected over $390,000 from two fundraisers (one on September 23, 2009 and one on February 23, 2010) in Washington D.C. hosted by AIG and 17 bailout-supporting U.S. Senators.

Cheney didn't exactly take Hutchison over the finish line, huh?
To: Marty62
I missed those. Can you elaborate and perhaps post a link? Thanks.

Especially RON Paul Libertarians.

Why should Kay Baily Hutchison be blamed for George W. Bush’s bailout? That was cooked up by Bush and Hank Paulson.

I am with you on that. Is Rand Paul just like his father or is he more conservative and less nuts?

And I don't support a "Republican" who voted for Bill Clinton, opposes term limits, supports earmarks and takes hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of bailout money from AIG to 'bailout' his sinking campaign.
Grayson just wants to be McConnell's little lapdog.

Some good news for Grayson. Double-digits back. Another $260,000 raised for Paul yesterday. There ain't much "good news" going on over at team Trey. Surprised really he hasn't fired Hodson yet.

http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/gop-primaries/88773-graysons-cheney-endorsement-help-or-harmCheney also endorsed in the Texas governor's race, and it didn't seem to do Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-Texas) any good. As with Grayson, Cheney's endorsement in that race came down later in the race, when the endorsee looked to be in some serious trouble.
Grayson has plenty of ground to make up on Rand Paul, according to recent polling. And one has to wonder why, when there's such a premium on being the anti-establishment candidate these days -- that's really what Paul has working for him -- he's rolling out an endorsement from such an establishment figure.
It's hard to see Grayson making this move if he was tied with Paul or in the lead.

I don't think Rand Paul comes with the crazy @$$ chromosome.

“The endorsement of Kay Bailey by Cheney made no sense.”
Cheney endorsing her makes perfect sense if you imagine Cheney as a lifelong new world order type, happiest inside the GOP establishment, who’s only conservative creds come from being aggressive militarily. Cheney,, is no conservative, just another mainstream repub.
Cheney loves open borders, gay marriage, etc,, he only looks conservative when juxtaposed against Obama.

He was in college when he voted for Clinton. And frankly, if it’s a choice between him and a Paul family abomination rolling in Truther moneybombs, it’s a no-brainer.

Thanks. I have some idea of his positions on issues, but I really don’t know that much about him.
