Posted on 03/23/2010 4:05:57 PM PDT by La Enchiladita
Below is a video of Rand Paul with his pal Adam Kokesh talking about their common "movement".
Read a report at Gathering of Eagles about James Bancroft's "mighty stand for truth" as he has resigned the Hartford Tea Party over their support for Peter Schiff who is part of this Libertarian "movement" with Adam Kokesh. Please read the whole post.
There is no doubt in my mind that Ron Paul's libertarian movement is attempting to take over the Republican Party through co-opting the Tea Party movement. We've seen this here in Kentucky as a good chunk of our Tea Party leaders supported Bill Johnson, but Rand Paul's big money (77% of it coming from out of state people in this "liberty movement") gave him credibility with the media and made him able to bill himself as "the Tea Party candidate" here. It was all a hoax, of course, and now Kentucky's grassroots-selected candidate has been disenfranchised.
Across America, the story seems to be the same. Many people involved in politics for the first time in many years have no idea that the Ron Paul / Rand Paul camp is actually anti-war, hates the 14th amendment and the 17th amendment and.....believe in UFOs. Like the people in the Hartford Tea Party who would not listen to Mr. Bancroft, they are being duped with the "broadened message" of Rand Paul and other candidates in this "movement". It's like Obama all over again.

Well, why did Sarah Palin endorse him?
Tea Party Leader Resigns Over Rand Paul’s Pal Adam Kokesh
The Tea Party has leaders?
The Kokesh issue/connection is new, I know for a fact there is some major pressure on her to remove her endorsement if Rand Paul endorses Kokesh.
Well, fooling the public by purporting to be what you aren't worked well for Obama, why not Rand Paul? As far as "fundamentally transforming" the Republican Party, look how well Obama is doing it to America. I'm thinking that the Republicans in Kentucky need to take a good hard look at Mr. Rand Paul or they may fall victim, twice, to the same political ploy.
Well, someone has to organize each of the events and this fellow was the leader of the Hartford Tea Party.
Oh, the horror.
Let's just field Republicans who'll promise to work with Dems and reach across the aisle then.
“Well, someone has to organize each of the events and this fellow was the leader of the Hartford Tea Party.”
Ah......from the headline it looked like THE LEADER, no?
The liebertarians you seem so fond of are the ones collaborating with the enemy.
The good thing is that Gathering of Eagles, Tea Party organizers and Republican clubs across America are wising up to the liebertarian poseurs amongst them.
Ol Rand was carrying water on both shoulders.
Early on sounded not quite as far out his is loony dad.
Sarah several months back gave her support to him.
Rand’s true colors are now out as the mini me of his dad Ron.
In recent months, Sarah has not mentioned her support for him since the early comment and her schedule through June still does not show anything for Rand.
To bad there wasn’t a better peson to challenge Rand and knock him out.
“The Tea Party has leaders?”
Apparently, it will soon. And there will go another try at moving out the traditional politicians.
he is one of the original 4, of which now there is only one original, but about 6 that regularly attend the Hartford meetings
“The liebertarians you seem so fond of are the ones collaborating with the enemy.”
Unlike, say, true-blue Republicans like...John McCain.
How can anybody trust libertarians when their favorite
son loads up legislation that he knows will pass and
gives the pork while giggling I voted against it.?
Shrimp boats Is Acomin
Their Sails are in sight.
Shrimp Boats is acomin
there will be dancing tonight.
** Ron Paul version.
Shrimp Boats is acomin
Their pork is in sight.
Shrimp Boats is acomin
They will be drugged up tonight.
Yes, as I like to say, he's a ditto of his Dad... it's all over the internet, including the Jesse Ventura connection. They are loony toons.
And, it does not look like the other Republican is gaining much traction, but he must.
This needs to go viral in Kentucky.
Lots of vets in Kentucky. I bet they’ll love to know that Rand is joined at the butt with this Code Pinko.
Headlines rarely have the ability to tell details. :)
To each their own. I guess Ron and Rand Paul and Adam Kokesh are to your liking.
I like conservative Republicans like Mike Pence, Tom Coburn, Michelle Bachmann, Marcia Blackburn and Bobby Jindal.... to name a few.
I would be happy to help you.
I am that tea party leader, and my resignation letter was posted here and was deleted by the mods.
I was inclined to think this Kokesh creep was a anomaly of NM politics, but you are right... he is a liberal fire ship and presents a national danger.
“To each their own. I guess Ron and Rand Paul and Adam Kokesh are to your liking.”
I never said they were to my liking. It’s just that to pretend they’re somehow unique in willingness to collaborate is exaggeration at best.
by the way, I’d almost say people like Bachmann are closer to certain libertarians than they are to certain RINOs.
I believe the very heart and soul of conservatism is libertarianism. I think conservatism is really a misnomer, just as liberalism is a misnomer for the liberals...The basis of conservatism is a desire for less government interference or less centralized authority or more individual freedom, and this is a pretty general description also of what libertarianism is. -President Ronald Reagan
Give me a break. I could never support Adam Kokesh but Rand Paul represents one thing we lack in many of our Republicans. And that is conviction and principle. Paul is going to win in Kentucky because he can articulate the message of liberty and we can count on him to vote against big spending, big government, and assail it at every turn. Rand is not his father and as for associations plenty GOPers associate with liberals of all stripes and even support them. Look at Mark Kirk in Illinois. He is further to the left than any of our current elected GOP Senators yet their are plenty here that would vote for him when there are good alternatives like conservative prolife libertarian Mike Labno. I personally believe we need a few more conservative libertarians who really believe in cutting government to complement our often weak willed Gopers.
please google these items yourself
Kokesh + ansbach
Kokesh + IVAW
Kokesh + code pink
Kokesh + World Workers Party
then google Kokesh + Schiff
You are known by the company you keep.
then why is Rand Paul endorsing someone who marched with, sang with, protested with groups like:
World Workers Party
and wa on of the national leaders of Iraq Veterans Against the War?
That’s who Rand Paul and Ron Paul have hitched their wagon to!
if you still think that is a good thing, then you are part of the problem, not the solution.
That is not true
The Tea PArty in Conencticut was started by all registered republicans
It was our desire to equally expose all candidates who presented a storong constitutional stand that led us to look at Libertarian candidates and not check like we should of
Finding all the endorsements of Kokesh + Schiff made me sick
ANY political party that is co-endorsed with David Duke is stained, correct?
Well, Ron Paul/Rand Paul is stained with a Marxist world Workers Party marcher, a Code Pink marcher, an IVAW Traitor who openly called on Army Troops to desert in time of war inside their chowhall in Ansbach Germany and he even videotaped it and bragged about it afterwards and his account is till on the IVAW website
I will in no way vote for anyone connected to people like that.
Have you ever read the next paragraph of that quote? You should look it up.
Oh, and the tea party movement was not started by Libertarians. Not counting the original, the concept of a ‘tea party’ protest is common in our country. One guy actually bought ‘tea party’ website URLs back in 2004, there have been third and fourth tier ‘tea party’ political parties for decades, and it is easy to find many tea party tax protests going back for decades (the funniest I found was a strip club protesting a dance tax back in the early 90s).
Conservatives Republicans can’t be grouped with Libertarians.
Conservatives support the war aganist the IsloamOfascists.
Libertarians do not support the war and want us to pull out.
Ron Paul states, Iran and North Korea are not a threat.
A Code Pinko to the hilt
How do you know Rand Paul has “conviction” and “principle?” He has never held elected office. Here is a guy who was born in Pennsylvania, moved to Texas with his family and now runs for U.S. SENATE in Kentucky? It looks to me like you folks in Kentucky gamble on more than horse races.
I am sorry to see that folks there aren’t giving him a closer examination and asking more of their candidates than a convenient use of the word “liberty.”
As a patriotic American, I emphatically say we do not need “lie-bertarians,” but proven conservative Republicans. You do not understand the RLC is a group with its own agenda, USING the Republican Party for its own ends.
I know. :)
I am 100% against Ron Paul and now his son too.
I am not in Kentucky, but fieldmarshaldj is I think.
runs for U.S. SENATE in Kentucky
while up to months ago was living in Cincinnati, Ohio
The only political plank they really share is economic (albeit that is a large plank). For things like Social, Defense, Law and Order, they are on a different path.
Adam Kokesh who is running for the national Congressional seat in the Farmington New Mexico area.
Kokesh is a member of IVAW, (Iraq Veterans Against the War). He openly marched in demonstrations against his country after returning from Iraq. He was arrested for bringing an illegal weapon to a college campus and having it stolen from his car, and then had a Military trial and lost a stripe for it since he brought it back illegally from Iraq. This article quotes Kokesh extensively.
Kokesh went to an Army base and openly stood in a Chow Hall and videotaped himself calling on the troops to desert in time of War and posted in online and on the IVAW blog under his own name. The article below is Adam Kokesh’s personal account of this act in his own words.
Kokesh led demonstration in DC in front of a recruiting station where his public stated goal was to prevent any recruiting from going
on that day. Kokeshs accomplices that day berated several Blue Star Mothers, (Mothers of Soldiers/Marines/Airmen/Sailors serving in time of war) and told them their sons should die in Iraq.
First hand witness accounts of this demonstration here :
The results of his participation in these actions in Washington DC led to an investigation by the United States Marine Corps into
Kokesh’s wearing of military uniforms while walking the street in threatening poses pretending to hold a rifle simulating military action against Iraqi civilians. Kokesh posted the e-mail he received from the Marine Corps officer on the Iraq Veterans Against the War website and boasted of receiving this letter and also posted his profane response for the world to see. This again is Kokesh’s own words and testimony on the Iraq Veterans Against the War website. He was asked about this by a Marine officer who wanted to
determine why he did what he did and were the allegations true. Kokesh admitted this was true and told the Major to GO F__ HIMSELF in his e-mail response.
There are numerous articles more than can be posted, but I will let the reader look for themselves.
Use your internet connection and search for
Kokesh + IVAW
I did my first GOOGLE search for Kokesh + Schiff was was quite stunned to see the number of connections on web sites between the two. A person is known by the company they keep. A person is also known by who wants to tell others you are a good person or a bad person. Numerous websites that specifically mention connections between Peter Schiff and Adam Kokesh have for the most part only included the names of Ron Paul or his son Rand Paul. And no one else by comparison.
The GOOGLE search terms and link I used were this:
The first page I found was this:
This the very first page of this forum is entirely based on support for Peter Schiff and Adam Kokesh and Rand Paul. ONLY those three persons. While an individual may not know what everyone says about him, he must surely know who he is compared to and why, for this website clearly endorses these three men, it has the campaign website for Peter Schiff at the top of it’s page for donations. Schiff MUST know of this site for that reason alone because he has to account for all campaign donations and his webmaster also has the clear capability to discover who is accessing his website, and in modern times, a responsibility to know who is accessing your website, and that means Schiff KNOWS he is associated with Adam Kokesh.
On July 15, 2009, Peter Schiff was one of the search terms along with Adam Kokesh for this Ron Paul appearance on Judge Napolitano’s web broadcast. If they are not known to each other or do not have common values and goals, why are they jointly advertised with each other?
That link can be found here:
On the following website, videos of Peter Schiff, with search tags that include Adam Kokesh, Ron Paul, Rand Paul and Chris Dodd (someone Schiff has openly opposed, one of the reasons I originally supported him), additional videos also show a hatred of Israel and Jewish interests, calling SarahPalin a Zionist Neocon Warmonger, that Ron Paul is the Tea Party leader-Not Sarah Palin (Neither were leaders, it was street level persons such as myself that made things happen), :
Mentioned specifically on this page are two Schiff videos. Here are the descriptions and links to those videos, along with the search
tags for those videos:

Notice that in the second video, one of the search tags is INFOWARS. INFOWARS is an Alex Jones supported group, one of the leading 9/11 truthers who believe, among the many theories proposed by truthers, stories such as that the World Trade Centers were attacked by radio controlled airplanes that had the passengers removed before the collision, and also that explosive charges were placed in the building that caused the actual collapse after the collision and resultant fire. These people are Ron Paul suporters and openly support Peter Schiff and Adam Kokesh.
Remember: You are known by the company you keep, and by those who promote you and by those who wish you ill.
A direct quote from this conference is as such:
(January 20, 2010) House Rep. Ron Paul says the CIA has in effect carried out a “coup” against the US government, and the intelligence agency needs to be “taken out.”
Speaking to an audience of like-minded libertarians at a Campaign for Liberty regional conference in Atlanta this past weekend, the
Texas Republican said: “There's been a coup, have you heard? It's the CIA coup. The CIA runs everything, they run the military.
They're the ones who are over there lobbing missiles and bombs on countries...”
I did an Internet search to see if Peter Schiff attended this conference, and found that almost every video of this event where Ron
Paul made such a statement, Peter Schiff’s name was one of the main search tags:
One one video, the single specific description for the video reads as such:

This video can be found at the link below:
And here is one prominant website that supports the 9/11 conspiracy theories, calling for a RON PAUL PROVISIONAL ARMY to
take over after we investigate the 9/11 events:
Among the other kooky connections to Ron Paul, is a UFO COnnection. I have yet to find the original article, but numerous articles repeat the belief of Ron Paul's that UFO’s are real. Some of the Ron Paul sites have soeone trying to mock this belief, but the Ron Paul site, DailyPaul.com says this:
This has been repeated again in San Francisco, not known to support conservatives or Libertarians anyways, but associated with Ron Paul out there were UFO enthusiasts mentioned in this article:
How is it that the kookiest ideas are surrounding Ron Paul?
Ron Paul, UFO disclosure, etc... simply nothing more than a pacifier — a distraction!
Hmmm...you mean liebertarians (sic) like Lindsey Graham and John McCain. No...wait a minute...those are Republicans!
There are plenty of folks who have kooky ideas, such as birthers, who support Palin. Do you also suggest that she be blamed for that?
Something that interests me is that reportedly 70% of Rand Paul’s funding comes from out of state.
I am also interested in learning how Ron Paul was able to purchase an estimated 800 registrations for the Southern Republican Leadership Conference opening the weekend after Easter.
As the saying goes, “Follow the money.”
And we can guess whose money would want to disrupt and weaken the Republican Party, as well as the Tea Party movement.
Then you better stop logging on to FR because there are plenty of FReaks here. Lots of smart, nice people who love their country, but also a lot of FReaks. We mostly have our conservative values in common but there are all types of folks here, some of whom I certainly would not vote for.
Maybe the Kentucky pinger will come along and alert all.
Kokesh is associated with the same type of anti war Marxist groups as John Kerry. We exposed and condemned Kerry but Kokesh gets a break, what hypocrisy.
They are both anti war Marxist.
1) Ask you: “Have you stopped beating your wife yet.”
2) Then he'll post: “Palin, Forbes and GOA have all endorsed Rand Paul, so you see, Rand is normal.”
3) Then he'll post a 30 year-old picture of Ron Paul standing with Ronald Reagan and say: “You see, The Pauls are normal, even Reagan liked Paul.”
This is his modus opeRANDi. Boring, predictable. But, it's his three-step program, and darn it, he's stickin’ to it.
There was just a JOURNAL INQUIRER poll, (Eastern Ct Newspaper, subscription required), that listed the Ron Paul candidate in Ct, Peter Schiff, and if I remember rightly, he got 1.7 MILLION dollars, yet only $75K was from inside his own state!!
