Persecution and suffering is a a good thing, dear friend-only very Holy people understand this..
From the words of Saint Padre Pio
"O what precious moments these are. It is a happiness that the Lord gives me to relish almost always in moments of affliction. At these moments, more than ever, when the whole world troubles and weighs on me, I desire nothing other than to love and to suffer. Yes my father, even in the midst of so much suffering I am happy because it seems as if my heart is beating with Jesus' heart." - Saint Padre Pio
There is no doubt that Pope Benedict will be strengthened with much grace by what is happening
Because I do not foam at the mouth and rabidly attack some one does not make my post a defense. Your rational thought processes have deteriorated severly.
I did not attack the Pope or the church. To say that there are no human frailities within the church is not an attack upon it. To suggest that it is somehow wrong to correct misbehaviour by those within the church is beyond weak.
YOU correct misbehavior - that’s funny! And a church you have no affiliation with! LOL!
Check the splinter in your eye, chump! And, btw, backpedaling is weak.
I am correcting nothing in the RC church. My comments are my own opinion. We do not live in an authoritarian dictatorship ( yet). I am sure you would be a willing member of the religious police when it comes to that.
Please save your comment. I am done talking with you
you are tiresome - hang it up already!
Congress has it’s own dung-punching pedophile (congressional pages) - how about that POS resigning? How about it, BF!
Rahm and O are just the useful idiots of the one the Pope battles every day.
I was stating fact, not debating an issue that has already been settled. The Christian church doesn’t recognize the RCC has the true church. That’s why they are called “Catholics”.
The Law of Congruency prohibits two systems from being equal. Therefore, by sheer logic, it is impossible for the RCC to be equal to Christianity.
Your verse is indeed applicable to this situation. It most definately is an issue of who is wresting the Scriptures to their destruction. On one hand, the RCC ignores the Canon and tacks onto doctrine that is contrary to Scripture. In fact, the very basis of authority the RCC claims in Matthew 16, isn’t an issue of authority: the context is answering the question of who Jesus is. It is Jesus that is the rock by which the church is built upon, not papel secession. Compare that with Ephesians 1-3, and it becomes painfully clear.
That is what happens when the plain, litteral sense of the Bible is ignored, and supplying a hidden meaning in order to shore up a man-centric religion.
In Christ.
