WOW!!! What an AWSOME TURNOUT!!
Harry Reid is so outta there.
Thanks for the ping, pictures are wonderful, wish I could have attended! I live in Las Vegas 45 yrs, the pictures ALMOST made me homesick, but I never want to live in Reid country again
Yep with so many old white Americans, Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow will be pissed off that the Tea Party doesn’t practice “diversity”.
Of course, MSNBC doesn’t practice diversity either. But they will never talk about that.
Another thank you for the uplifting pictures. My blue state has been full of protests FOR the health care bill. Paper full of letters to the editor promoting the bill. Sickening.
Heard that ABC now admitting to 50,000 for Tea Party
200 people showed up for Reid
Of course he could have used those 35 egg throwers at his rally but he made the sacrifice.
Great pictures! Thanks for the report. And thanks for the warning about dial-up. I no longer am hampered by dial-up, but it reminded me of the days of Mia T. Loved the postings, but once I realized I had clicked on a Mia T post, I just went downstairs to wash the dishes and put in a load of laundry. It was going to be that long. I FINALLY learned to check.
You made my day.....thank you!!!!!!!!!!!
Holy Keith Oblermann.....Batman.....I saw a couple Black People in those picture!!
Not to worry old chum......Quick to the MSNBC Editing Room!!
This is cool, really cool...great pics, great people, diverse, proud Americans! Thanks so much!!!
So many great photos! Thanks, Ron.
Terrific photos! Thanks!
BTTT

Old, violent, racist, and dangerous.
Great job LVR
I just saw Americans and whats wrong with old white people ?
That's gotta make Harry feel good! Tha phakin commie whore deserves to be stomped into the mud.
Maybe Nazi Pelosi will start telling him how worthwhile it is to get your electoral azz handed to you so long as you get to support the Kenyans Destruction of America Tour.
I can confirm the traffic South of the event on US 95 was backed up for miles. Through the town of Searchlight and onward. I turned West in Seachlight in order to get back on I15 to go home. The turn out was amazing. I don’t know about North of the event but I think some of the pictures posted by Ron is North of the event. Just unbelievable.
Goodbye to classless Hairless Reid!!
LOL

I have 5 kids, 15 grandkids and a great great - So I'm responsible for my share.
but seriously, loss of respect for the elders has gone a long way towards eroding our society
GREAT PHOTOS RON! Wish we could have gotten together! It took me an hour and a half just to get out...cars backed up for miles going towards Vegas. Going the other way it was a breeze!!! What a great day! Although I have a terrible sunburn!
I’m surprised the local cops didn’t write tickets for all the cars parked on the side of the road. They would be doing it “for the children”, of course.
They aren’t parked. They’re waiting to get in to park. Our bus passed 2 miles of cars waiting to get in.
WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
Thanks for letting me know!
Yep, I was on the North end, in fact that first pic with the Firebird in it is me when I first got there. I was about a half mile North of the entrance.
When I left and started driving back toward Vegas, the parking on both sides of the road continued for another 2.7 miles, I clocked it.
Like you said AMAZING!! The whole day really lifted my spirits.
I have made an official count for CNN.
Based on the photos, it is 42.
All those others were obviously cleverly photoshopped.
Ahem it was 43....you forget I was there taking the photos LOL!
I looked for you but, well, you know how it was there today.
I was so happy to see the turnout, really did my heart good, wish we could have had some time to chat...someday!
Sorry to hear about the sunburn :(
What about that fake "Tea Party" candidate Scott Ashjian? Whorealdo had him on live tonight, and he's got me worried that a split in the parties will get Reid re-elected.
Thank you both for your awesome threads and photos today, Las Vegas Ron and Hildy! :o)
Average car is about 16.4 feet long.
5,280 feet in a statute mile.
Gives you about 322 cars bumper to bumper per mile. Call it 300 for gaps and road crossings etc.
That's 2400 cars in a single lane. If that's a 4 lane then you are talking 9600 Cars for 8 miles and I am willing to bet at least two people per car and that is just the people stuck in traffic.
19200 peeps stuck on the road waiting to get in which means there was already people at the destination. Easily 20,000 people if the 8 mile traffic jam is credible.
I saw that too, the guy is a real slime ball.
I guess we'll have to work hard at getting the word out, FWIW, so far he is getting nothing but negative press here, even in the LVRJ.
Thank you, thank you...wonderful pictures.
Yeah, my husband kept saying: WHY isn't there an aerial photo of the crowd??
It would have been cool to see all those people - from the air - gathered in the middle of the desert.
Can you estimate how many people were there? CNN said "hundreds", Fox reporter Casey Stegall said "over 10,000", and I think Politico said 20,000.
Wow! Thanks for the great pics! What a great turnout!!!!
BUH bye Harry Reid!
I sure hope you're right, Ron. Ashjian told Whorealdo he was "up by 20 points" (I think he said that), Whorealdo corrected him and said "no, you're up by 10 points".
Yikes, what happened to the REAL Republican candidate? I got the impression that Ashjian was indeed climbing in the polls.
I think what happened in NY-23 was a whole lot of voter confusion. I hope the word gets out about Ashjian by election day...
GREAT photos... glad you had such a good time today! :o)
LOL Where is our girl, anyway?
I always suspected she was a boy. :)
RON!
We lost some of you pics!
The man with the barrel around him!!!

"Former US vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin speaks at a Tea Party rally in Searchlight, Nevada, the hometown of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, on March 27, 2010. Thousands of Tea Party activists attended the rally which kicks off their latest cross-country protest against big government and health care reform."
Great pictures-Thanks
LOL...I see that, I guess 10 gigs of bandwidth didn't go very far.
If you want a certain pic let me know, I can figure out a way to get it to you.
Um, so you don't read sarcasm very well, do you? That's what the MSM would report. Playing the race card dontchaknow.
Heck Mia T was bad on broadband too. Her posts made my eyes bleed.
about 2500 dozen....
10,000 people at this event, and my local ABC News gave more coverage time to six people in a diner in Manhattan, meeting as The Coffee Party. They were each interviewed and each denounced the violence of the Tea Party.
>....respect for the elders has gone a long way towards eroding our society.<
The unborn and the ageed, including the obliteration of God and the belittling of dad. The only way back is to repent our many sins, and turn from them then to open our hearts to tje Lord Jesus. Our nation was based on Him. He gave us the most wonderful freedom and prosperity in history. Pray for the salvation of those who would do us harm. If Saul, before he turned from his evil ways became St. Paul, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Barrack Obama and their ilk can chaange, too. Now that’s what I would call real change for the better!
I can’t say I am surprised. It will just make our victory all the more sweet considering all of the odds we have to overcome.
That is a good estimate. It would be impossible to get a single picture of the total attendance because of all the “Old white folks”. I’m an OWG and I could only stay about an hour. As I was leaving, there was still a strong flow of new comers. I could only park 1 mile down the road (knowing my walking limits) so I decided to triple park in front of several other cars off the side. When I returned to my car, the people were waiting to leave also and were very friendly about it. How great it is to walk among so many good people and Patriots that only want what is best for our country. The country that I fought for in VN. Sorta takes the edge off of my disappointment.
Where were these old white voters on Nov.2008?
