So What!

Posted on 03/28/2010 3:00:13 PM PDT by RED SOUTH

Palin is helping McCain. Doesn't make her a rino anymore than Reagan was a rino when he helped rino's in 78. Yes , he did.

Anyway , would you rather have Mitt , Huck or Pawlenty? Your choices are probally down to the four or you can sit out again and help that pig Obama get another term.

Forget about crossing your fingers for some fantasy of another canidate emerging from somewhere else to save the day. If you do not have a pac raising money now and are active by campaigning and collecting you I.O.U's , then you will be too far behind to mount a serious run later. Only four republicans are this far in the process.

Another point to think about , Palin probally did this as part of a larger strategy. To middle America , people who don't identify strictly to party or ideology but usually decide the election , seeing Palin and McCain together was a nice contrast to Obama and Pelosi and a lot of them voted for Obama have huge regrets and after seeing Palin and Mccain together , wished they had voted the other way. I am talking about Reagan democrats who voted for Perot and have been the swing vote that decides elections.

Bit early, don't you think?

Mitt doesn't think so. Besides, you know exactly what the poster meant - potential candidates. I'll add one more - Paul Ryan. So there!

Some of us are ready, the rest who think it's too early, can go back to sleep. The ready ones will sleep after the conservative Inaugurational Ball.

Reagan helped RINOs who were running against proven conservatives?

If you think McCain would run as a vp your nuts. Hopefully he agrees he's too old.

Im not so sure shes prez material yet.

She for sure is a great spokesperson for conservatives. She has so much baggage she really has to keep sharp.

Surely you realize that the words of an illiterate carry little weight?

HG: Remember who turned your world upside down - and will continue to do so - and he is ILLITERATE!

RS - the humble one goes into correction mode on spelling when he's on a site and has nothing to offer but angst. It's his mo (words of illiterate carry little weigh). I'd advise do it often - it gives grumpy something to do and makes him feel relevant.

Comparing Reagan to Palin ain’t gonna cut it. There is no comparison.

By supporting McCain, Palin demonstrates that she supports his kind of politics. She has a tendency of creating an atmosphere of isolation around her like Hillary. You either love her 100% or you hate her 100%. By supporting McLame, I have to say I lost some support for her.

On the other hand, I think Michelle Bachmann is going to be a force to reckoned with. If Bachmann chooses to run, thats where my vote goes, without a second thought.

I agree. Please, folks, let’s not tear each other apart. A weak Republican (or RINO as some folks like to say) who can win is better than a left-wing Anti-American Democrat, who ignores the majority of this country.

Please, this is critically important. We can’t afford more politicians like Obama. We cannot afford to split the Republican vote - just become someone is not a pure Conservative does not mean he or she should be tossed out or ignored. If the more conservative candidate cannot win and siphons votes from the less conservative candidate who has a greater chance of winning, then you are, in effect, allowing a left-wing Democrat to win, which is something we cannot afford as a country.

I’m nuts? You started this about mccain running again for pres, NOT ME!! Why do you think I posted ‘???”!

Sarah is SHARP with guts and glory included. And there isn’t one thing anyone can do about it - other than be p*ssed off that it isn’t them who has those traits - and for some, that it is a woman - that gets their diapers all wee wee’d up!

It’s fun to watch people’s inner problems surface when Sarah’s name is spoken.

Let’s not tear each other a part. A weak Republican is better for this country than a Democrat who is a Socialist, like Obama. We cannot afford to split the votes between pure conservatives and those who are not as pure. If we continue to do that left-wing Democrats will win by default, which this country cannot afford - economically or otherwise.
