So What!

Posted on 03/28/2010 3:00:13 PM PDT by RED SOUTH

Palin is helping McCain. Doesn't make her a rino anymore than Reagan was a rino when he helped rino's in 78. Yes , he did.

Anyway , would you rather have Mitt , Huck or Pawlenty? Your choices are probally down to the four or you can sit out again and help that pig Obama get another term.

Forget about crossing your fingers for some fantasy of another canidate emerging from somewhere else to save the day. If you do not have a pac raising money now and are active by campaigning and collecting you I.O.U's , then you will be too far behind to mount a serious run later. Only four republicans are this far in the process.

Another point to think about , Palin probally did this as part of a larger strategy. To middle America , people who don't identify strictly to party or ideology but usually decide the election , seeing Palin and McCain together was a nice contrast to Obama and Pelosi and a lot of them voted for Obama have huge regrets and after seeing Palin and Mccain together , wished they had voted the other way. I am talking about Reagan democrats who voted for Perot and have been the swing vote that decides elections.

I, as well as several others, know who some of them are simply from having seen their posts and subsequent arguments on various threads.

If you post regularly, these folks reveal themselves. One formal club does exist in response to these 'worshipers' .....

Traull is a Ron Paul troll.

I also think it is UNFReerepublic to keep or circulate "lists". One at at time is more fun.

One at at time is more fun.

Plus, it gives that personal touch that makes us so special.

'Gunner, say it ain't so!

I have axed for the facts more than once, they are not forthcoming.

I reckon it is someone's fantasy and I'm flattered.

A little ill but still flattered.

More ill than flattered...

And you post that to Allegra?

Must be a drama queen with a guilty conscience. LOL

I support nothing but conservatives, but this drama queen probably doesnt know what a conservative is. ;-)

He chose to "unite" the party with his selection of Bush.

So, your intent wasn't to respond to the original statements. That's pretty common around here.

But 1980 was a very different time in the Republican party, and I doubt the term "RINO" even existed. The Rockefellar/liberal/country club types were still a major force in the party, and there were still a good number of conservative Democrats in states that were gradually changing from Dem to Republican, Dems who would support Reagan on many issues. - Comparing Reagan's roll in primary elections in that era and Palin today doesn't compare very well.

And whatever the intent was, elevating the Bush family to a level they would never have attained on their own has proven to be the factor that did more to slow Reagan conservatism than any other. There might not have been an ideal conservative VP for Reagan to pick in 1980, one who would have been conservative and electable. I was never as impressed with Kemp as some were.

McCain just smacked the corrupt leftist LSM and the lying McCain staffers right in the face by asking Sarah Palin to campaign for him.

He is the first high-profile politican to ask Gov. Palin for her help. Thank you, McCain!

Remember this, the guy that beat Hayworth is running in the general. You better decide if you want a Rino or a dem in Washington.

So get over it you bunch of cry babies.

Besides, you know exactly what the poster meant - potential candidates. I'll add one more - Paul Ryan. So there!

I really hope that you're a female. I can't imagine a heterosexual male using this exclamation.

According the the FR drama queens we will have to dump the Conservative Icon Ronald Reagan.
Earlier he was a Deeeemocrat and voted for FDR

May even have to rip out the pages of St. Paul in the Bible
He use to chuck rocks at Christians.

LOL...Okay. I give up. I surrender. You have won me over. I have now finally come to the realization that since Sarah Palin is campaigning for McCain, she is theantichristspawnofobamadevilsdaughterfloozy cariboubarbieairheadmotherofawhoremotherinlawofajackass supersecretwetbacksmugglersellingoutamericatocastroandchavez. And she's ugly and has an annoying voice, too. (/sarc)

Seriously, I've reached the conclusion that my time is better spent actually fighting the enemy instead of arguing with good people like you who I realize have the same ultimate goal as me. I just hope we can end the circular firing squad before November.

Happy Trails!

Don’t you just love the smell of fresh baked pretzel logic from the drama queens. The Greeks couldn’t write a better comedy of errors.

Instead of having your little temper tantrum, why don’t you knock out McCain in the primary and then join us in the fall for the fight against 0bama and the ‘rats.

Sarah Palin cannot be elected President without what used to be called "Reagan Democrats". Right now, a better name would be "Scott Brown Democrats" (and, yes, a lot of them are independents).

It's not going to get Sarah elected that FReepers would drink her bath water. She needs to do something to decrease her unfavorables among independents, because they're too high for her to win.

Appearing with McCain is one of a number of things I think she will do to help herself, and it's pretty smart, IMO.

Just like the commies would never leave Obama, no matter what he said or did to get elected, we're not gonna leave Sarah, either.

If there were enough of US to elect a President, the country wouldn't be in the mess it is in.

with DU & PaulBot Trolls egging it on.

The all above people Do Not want a Conservative Republican
such as Sarah Palin to take on and beat Obama in 2012.

The all or nothing crowd would rather have Obama destroying America,
