We all have guns. If bombers started targeting civilians here (with 9-11 the exception) then Muslims would start getting rounded up not by the government, but by the citizenry and shot. And there would be nothing the government would be able to do about it. Mainly because it would be so grassroots that no one would know who is in charge.
Your remark about nukes and Iran show your very narrow understanding of the situation.
Not one terrorist on 9-11 was Iranian. They were all either Saudis or funded by the Saudis. Who funds the Saudi islamic government? We do. In many ways.
