You do realize Obama might be using a similar strategy?

With all the computing power of the NSA at his fingertips all he has to do is activate a program and run down a list of the most likely groups that could have a successful attempt of being an opposition.

Especially ones that could sway public opinion against his regime.

FoxNews current talking head just did an interview with a “former” FBI guy on this takedown. Believe it or not, then headline on the screen read “Michigan Militia”.

Interesting since it was “Hutaree” and not “Michigan Militia” an entirely separate organization.

The Fox male talking head asked the FBI guy a few questions that inadvertently, I think, caused the shallowness of the case to come to the fore. He shifted then to evil types of organizations like this and wrapped up the interview.

The FBI guy was very uncomfortable and extremely vague in his responses. There was not one single bit of information in that entire interview that pointed to an instance of a crime that injured person or property.

In fact, and this is scary, the fbi puke (and I’m paraphrasing by memory) said that Waco taught them a lesson about alerting this kind of group so NOW they are just arresting them BEFORE THEY DO ANYTHING!

PRE-EMPTIVE ARRESTS! America, you are screwed.

And I’m not kidding. I don’t think I missed the meaning of what was said. I think I got it.

Well then where the hell was the FBI when Major Nidal was getting ready to go off the deep end at Fort Hood??

This is not smelling any better.

One man’s sound planning is another man’s evil conspiracy.

You can indict a ham sandwich for having no mustard, but convicting it of conspiring with the mayonnaise is another matter entirely...

Levying war against our currently unConstitutional government is one thing. This "indictment" sounds like BS. Smells like a set up.

This is meant to silence opposition. The spin is in...

Does anyone else have contingency plans in place? Did you tell anyone else about them? Did you maybe get together and do some war gaming with friends?

YOU ARE NEXT ON THEIR LIST.

Bank on it.

I guess there is a chance that The Waco Barbecue may have been a bit embarrassing to the FBI. Reno, Clinton and Co. on the other hand..... I will never forget that video.

I remember watching it from my barracks lounge in Japan and thinking, "What the hell is my government doing? I did not enlist to protect this action, but to protect FROM it."

Stuff like this eats at a man.

I read the entire indictment yesterday and there is no evidence in it of a single injury to person or property.

It is all “by interpretation of law” kind of stuff.

I’m really curious when we’re going to hear what was actually DONE by these people.

Not to be rude, but that doesn't help. We did our job then, but what are we doing now that deserves "thanks"?

I've recently "found" a bunch of the guys I served with. We're all pretty much of the same mind.

This government is off the rails. They have become the "domestic" enemy we swore to protect against.

We feel powerless. We feel like cowards. We have no idea what to do next.

Most people continue to council, "Wait until after this falls elections." Or, "We still have the Courts to work this through..."

In the meantime, they are piling it on faster and faster while their complicit lapdogs in the media demonize us daily.

... and the whole Country takes one more swirl 'round the toilet bowl.

The indictment is all "pre-crime".

If this logic makes it through the courts, all men could be convicted of being rapists simply by the dint of being men.

Sound like hyperbole? Did you ever think the commies would take over our Country without a shot being fired?

Thanks for the post

**** UPDATE, 12/28/06: The Christian Science Monitor has even more disturbing news about Andrew G. Arena. It appears that just a month ago, with the New York FBI, he was trying to change American popular opinion about Islam. Is he a federal law enforcement official or a dhimmi change agent for jihad? Hard to tell:

The FBI found many such misperceptions about Islam among its agents as well, according to Andrew Arena, the special agent in charge of the New York FBI office. And so, as the bureau began a concentrated effort to reach out to the Muslim community, education became one of its first priorities. At the FBI Academy and in ongoing field training, agents are now taught about the Muslim faith – its basic tenets and things like the difference between Shiites and Sunnis.
“It’s helped to make our agents more culturally sensitive to the concerns of not only the Muslim community, but all of the communities that we deal with,” says Mr. Arena.

Andrew Arena–sent to Detroit by the FBI NOT to investigate Islamic terrorism, but to help change our perceptions about its operatives. No wonder we are losing the war on terror.
