Andrew Arena–sent to Detroit by the FBI NOT to investigate Islamic terrorism, but to help change our perceptions about its operatives. No wonder we are losing the war on terror.

Well, his boss is a Muslem.

The “Tea Party” movement has, as of this moment, done nothing that’s the equivalent of the 76ers dumping tea in the harbor. That was an act of civil disobedience with a bullet. It wasn’t merely the opposing of an onerous law, but it was the violation of a law through deliberate act.

It violated onerous law.

It physically injured no one.

It financially injured some.

It directly attacked the onerous law in that it injured crown revenue/taxation.

What would be the equivalent in our day?

I don’t know.

I thought they were plotting against Muslims. Now they are plotting against cops? What happened to the Muslims?

Maybe they vanished with the three other guys that were at the murder of Border Agent Rosas? They disappeared too.

Thanks for the info, xzins. According to the article on Drudge this am, it indicated that there were plans for sometime in April. Was there any reference to this time-frame and specific plans in the indictment and what they were based on? Something smells quite fishy about these arrests.

En masse, refusing to get health insurance and publicly refusing to pay any fine.

Yes, the indictment contained a date (April 24?) at which something was supposed to happen. But, it was written in such a way that one had no doubt that the writer was carefully interpreting something a particular way.

In fact, and this is scary, the fbi puke (and I’m paraphrasing by memory) said that Waco taught them a lesson about alerting this kind of group so NOW they are just arresting them BEFORE THEY DO ANYTHING!

Unimaginable. And now reality.

Some conservative think tank had better throw a lot of money defending these guys so the courts can come down hard on this type of fascist repression.

If the courts still exist by then.

If nothing else, that interview was evidence that no act had been committed prior to their arrest.

Now, would I prefer that we had caught the 9/11 terrorists while they were at the airport and prosecuted them for their conspiracy that culminated in 9/11?

Sure.

However, pre-emptive arresting should occur when the suspected plot is in progress. It shouldn’t be based on conversations that camo dressed men have over a beer. It shouldn’t even be based on angry writings or postings.

One should be “in the act.”

I just quickly read through the indictment. It says there was a reconnaisance exercise planned for sometime in April, 2010. It doesn’t really say what the reconnaisance was to accomplish that I could tell. I’m wondering that by filing the sedition charges, then the use of firearms during any training (assuming it was for sedition) can be considered illegal. Otherwise, these where a few guys training/practicing with legal firearms.

a recon mission is “going to check out the location.”

It is not an “in the act” part of a conspiracy.

Thanks for amplification of who he really is.

If you and I can find this in a few keystrokes, where is the MSM. They are “in the tank” trying to sell this lie too.
