The Republicans lose the high ground if they fail to demand the bill be repealed and start all over.

Article 6 of the Constitution makes the state challenges very “iffy.”

I don’t trust any of them. More action should have been done before instead of screaming you haven’t read the bill to the dimwits, GOP should have read every word and then reported. Screamed about it all.

Instead we had Stupak keeping America’s attention on one area of the bill only.

The minute it passed, I received tons of letters and emails saying donate now. Help us stop this. Stop it?

Yeah, they will use this for votes and donations but they are not and have not done a dayum thing as far as I am concerned. I am sick of them all.

Is it too much to ask these dorks to decide on a game plan and then stick with it? We are getting sliced to pieces by the mixed messages, abetted, of course, by the DNC and MSM

De-fund: Fine. Good talking point.

Repeal: we want BO to veto a repeal. Let him. He's toast in '12 if he does.

Alexander is a RINO’s Rino. He’s actually a Democrat in R clothing. He doesn’t have a conservative bone in his body, but he’s good at faking it when he needs to. His close, personal friends are extreme lefties.

I think the state actions, no matter how many decide to join in, are a waste of time. States cannot ignore federal law.

The Obama health care bill did nothing more than authorize healthcare. Authorization bills are not appropriations. Appropriations are handled separately.
All we have to do is kill any bills funding it and it’s the same as no Obamacare.

States can not only not ignore the Federal Law, They are duty bound to fight a law that they see as being unconstitutional. If they did not file suit they would be out of step with their oath to defend the constitution.

It is certainly not out of the question that this law will be found unconstitutional. Not to bring the law suits would be stupid. Regardless, the plan should be to REPEA this nightmare, not fix it, not change it, undo and replace it. Complete repeal should be the plan and it should be advertised as such.

This is a fundamental liberty to be LEFT ALONE. The Federal Government has no right to require someone to engage in specific commerce as a pre-requisit to be a resident in the country of his birth. If the Federal Government can do this, they are no longer a Federal Legislature, They become a general legislature and the states should be eliminated. There is no point to have the state level of government if the feds are going to micromanage.

Judge Napolitano said the best bet is to vote out Obama 2012. He said February 2013, repeal the bill. He said it cannot be repealed with Obama as president. You have to has his support.

Defunding will work until 2012 maybe?

3/4 of Americans now say Congress should take another crack at writing HCR, USA TODAY/Gallup Poll this week shows. http://bit.ly/ben0Ul

We’ll be lucky if they campaign on “mend it don’t end it”.
