Violent anarchists are planning on infilitrating and sabotaging the Tea Party Protests on April 15th.

Cameras and recording devices of all manner. Digital cameras, cell phone cameras, professional grade documentary cameras, video cameras mounted on tri-pods, dash board cameras, highly visible cameras, and hidden cameras. Additionally, technically competent people need to be present who can live stream the event to a remote recorder in the event the camera gets confiscated or destroyed. It should also go without saying that voice recording devices should be in abundance.
People should have self protective gear on or available, Things like eye protection and head protection could save a lot of medical bills. The leftists are capable of throwing feces and urine and they might dip sharp objects and throw, or project objects with sling shot type devices to hurt Tea Party members. The left has many people capable of putting on steel boots and kicking pregnant women in the stomach. They won't hesitate to put on metal knuckles and punch elderly people in the mouth. There should be a lot of first aid kits available. Tea Party members who are trained in first aid should be sprinkled around the crowd.
I realize that the people don't exactly need to form Roman Army style battle phalanxes but Tea Party people need to think of gathering in protective groups, and react instantly whenever someone in their group comes under attack. Being in groups won't guarantee that there won't be injuries, but it might help someone a lot if they are on the ground and leftists are kicking them if others are available to pull them away. People should carry whistles. Whistles are to be used to focus attention when someone is in need of assistance, or when people realize that they are being assaulted as a group. Of course, the other side might carry whistles too, but I would still have the good guys carry them. There should be bull horns but they must be concealed until needed.
Weapons are always a touchy subject, because the media will blame law abiding citizens for any use of force, and minimize the actions of the left. Just be advised that any use of a weapon, even in self defense, will bring out the leftist lawyers who will push for criminal prosecutions and civil lawsuits. The "Justice" Department under Obama will be likely to side with the leftist agitators.
Do NOT expect the police to be of any real help. I am not saying they won't interfere in something unlawful is happening, but rely on yourselves first for protection.
In DC on Sunday 3/20 we were notified by the speaker(can’t remember the name) that SEIU was going to mingle with the crowd to start trouble. We were advised to look them in the eye and say “God Bless America” and then continue on with activities. We actually did take and use that advise.

I agree. Seems the union thugs who have caused problems a few times just don’t like to have any cameras on them!
Armed with cameras and back-up is the way to go. This lady may or may not have a permit to carry, but my hubby’s name is 357. :)

Believe you are right! Rumors would be floated to stir folks up by the left....to perhaps cause some nut-case to go to a Tea Party event to cause a problem.
We go prepared and put the camera on trouble makers immediately as we call for law enforcement.
In Tennessee if you use your firearm in self defense or the defense of another you cannot be charged with a crime even if you are carrying a weapon were it is “illegal” to do so.
BTW, if you are going to take one of these idiots down with a stick or baton, aim for the knee. The pain is so intense that even a drug addled anarchist moron will go to the ground like a sack of potatoes.
If they were true Anarchists, they would fight the Administration’s race towards a totalitarian State, instead of crashing Tea Parties. They’re not real Anarchists, they’re just a bunch of black-wearing, pimple-faced twit twenty-somethings who just want to protest SOMETHING.

As “touchy” as the subject is, EXPECT more of those folks who have the permits to be “packing heat” more. I have had seen one or two pictures of those who “packed heat” during the hight of the early heated debate on healthcare.
Also I would add, look to have burly patriotic motorcylce guys around, just like those who come from Waterbury and attend the tea parties up in Hartford, CT. Guys like that keep the troublemakers away.

Well..’keep your powder dry’...lol. I’m not quite in favor of the ‘Ghandi thing’ some are promoting(didn’t he spend most of his life in a political prison)...but not into itching for a fight either. Some middle of the road approach is best. If they start something, we can damn sure defend ourselves. The main thing is to video tape everything!! Remember..the worst thing that can happen to the provocateurs is to be exposed!
We had some great biker guys at the very first Tea Party in Fort Worth and they were great! They didn’t participate much..just stood around doing what they do best..intimidate punks that might want to start trouble...lol.
Yep and just standing around is enough to keep the troublemakers away. :)
