Congressman Steve Cohen of Memphis teed off on the Tea Party movement in a Thursday night radio interview attracting national attention.
The two-term Democratic congressman said the Tea Party "without hoods and robes" has shown an angry, hardcore side of America that's against any type of diversity.
We saw opposition to African-Americans, hostility toward gays, hostility to anybody who wasnt just, you know, a clone of George Wallaces fan club, he said on The Young Turks, an Internet and satellite radio talk show.

which, by the way, he continues to denounce and lie about...even checked “black” on his census form. His mother would be so proud.
...says the guy who is about to lose his congressional seat because he’s the wrong color.
He’s desperate to keep his seat in a majority-black district.
“which, by the way, he continues to denounce and lie about...even checked black on his census form. His mother would be so proud.”
Which annoys the heck out of me.
It’s like his mother, and the grandparents who helped raise him, are worth nothing to him but the father who dumped him is a God.
Until our representatives stand up to this race baiting morally bankrupt tactic it will continue.
Yep. What else are they going to do -- defend their policies on their merits? Talk about why they love collectivism? Of course not.
And he will then be replaced by the former mayor of Memphis, King Willie Herenton. Not much of a switch. King Willie calls all whites racist. No biggie.
Does King ever fire back at blacks and fellow lefties for their racist attacks on him? I suspect not. But then he casually throws around the racist charge against decent Americans.
I just wish there could be a tie in that race. I dislike both of them with a passion. There are no redeeming qualities in either one of those Rats. somebody else can have them.
He also helped give us the disastrous Tenncare http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/2486091/posts
and obamanationcare!
The former mayor of Memphis king willie herenton (d) says only a black can represent a black district, which is why at 70 he’s running against the obamba butt kisser, not that king willie isn’t one too, just that he’s black and cohen isn’t. Then again king willie thinks GOD anointed him to be mayor of Memphis.
Cohen is one of only two non-blacks representing majority black districts in Congress
Let me get this straight, only two, TWO non-blacks represent
majority black districts?
How many majority black districts are there?
How many blacks represent majority white districts?
How many majority white districts are there?
Just curious, or am I being rascis.
Not that I know of, and I’ve been here 20 years. Mostly thankfully in Millington.
Gee, another Bolshevik type.... same glasses, all that...
This race pimp Jew is just trolling for votes in a majority black district. He will be beaten by Willie Herendon in the democrat primary and be gone.
All his race pimping will not help him keep the seat he only got cause Harold Ford, Jr ran for the Senate. I live in this district so I do know what I am talking about.
It's a good thing that there are no reactionary, literalistic, homophobic "African-Americans." I hear Memphis and the Mississippi Delta are simply crammed to the gills with Profound Left Wing Intellectuals.
Look at the members of the tea parties: they are white.
We all know they judge people solely by skin color because that’s what white people do.
Steve Cohen of MemphisThanks raptor22.
Thank you so much for your encouragements, dear brother in Christ!
