Photo-op only. Why does he bother pretending? We KNOW his hypocrisy as does Christ. And Jesus doesn’t like pretenders.

“The first family has attended a variety of Protestant churches in the nation’s capital since Obama’s election”

I find this an enteresting statement considering that just a few weeks ago the news items were about Obama not attending any church services whatsoever since taking office. A WH offical in fact said that Obama uses the chapel at Camp David.

In other words this is a bold faced lie.

Yes

This is exactly what I thought of too, and it was posted at FR also ...

Photo-op only. Why does he bother pretending?

A. He thinks we are stupid. B. He doesn't care what we think.

I can’t believe our Bible Thumper in Chief is making a public display of his religion for political purposes...Oh wait a minute, I forgot George Bush isn’t president anymore. Sorry about that.

Sarcasm tag? NEVER!!!

It's too much fun getting flamed by those that can't properly appreciate dry humor.

This is a strange article; I have never ever heard of them attending church in D.C. ever before; and at Christmas they were in Hawaii, so obviously didn’t attend any services at a D.C. church.

That's my impression, too - I've not once heard of them attending any Sunday church service.

I hope they liked the Easter service today.

Must have done so- the Bush clan are, and were, regulars at Sunday worship services

Bush Sr attended the church on Lafayette SQ close to the WH, I believe, and had a very interesting experience there early in his presidency

LOL.
At our church we call them the P&L's (poinsettias and lilies).

I understand they went to church last Easter, so the variety is two or so.

Someone should have a listing?

Bammy tries really hard doesn’t he. No sale.

...kind of reminds me of our first black president.

Me too. Fake marriage, fake religion, fake patriotism.
