The intention is that you will behave like a good little coolie and do what your are told. If not, then it's your own fault that we have to throw you in jail.

I don’t need to meet her! What I’ve heard her say on tv is enough to know she is NOT a nice person.

Well, if they try to put us in jail, they'll have to put ALL of us in jail.
If they succeed in making Americans "buy" whatever they "deem" we need, next we'll all have to buy a Chevrolet, storm windows, and contribute 1/3rd of our pay to unions we don't even belong to.
In a word, it's Communism, plain and simple...you obey, or you go to jail.

Tom Coburn is being polite and diplomatic, and showing a lot of class. He probably really does think Nancy Pelosi is nice, so I have no problem with his approach in trying to be friendly to the opposition so long as he sticks to his principles.

What does “nice” have to do with anything...some thing Obama is nice but that doesn’t make his policies any more correct...they are still wrong!

Should have known Coburn was going Liberal when he supported John McCain early on in the 2008 primary season.
Coburn now bought and paid for by DC $$$$$
Mr Coburn, do not let the screen door hit your arse on the way out of conservatism.....

I hate the Senate. What is it about that place that turns otherwise intelligent people into sycophantic, politically tone-deaf idiots that care more for their colleagues than they do about their country?

During the 2008 election cycle Coburn toured Oklahoma and told his constituents "Obama was a good man that could be trusted."
Coburn apparently knew this because he had worked closely with Obama in the Senate. Obama alway held up Coburn as an example of how he was not a partisan.
Coburn is part of the ruling class and a snake. It does not matter to him if freedoms are taken away.. he is exempt.

"The intention is not to put anybody in jail," Of course not. Redistribution of your property is the intention (along with taking your soul)...

"The intention is not to put anybody in jail," he said. "That makes for good TV news on Fox but that isn't the intention." If that is not the intention then why is it in the bill? The jack-hole needs to go.

“Come on now, she is a nice — how many of you all have met her?” continued Coburn. “She’s a nice person. She’s a nice person.”
And when Coburn was talking tough about grilling Dems who lose their seat, and are nominated for positions in Obamacare... I expressed skepticism. I was critizied by many freepers for that stance.
Those freepers may want to re-examine their position. I’m accepting apologies.
Politician, D or R = whore.
