ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) -- They've been called Oreos, traitors and Uncle Toms, and are used to having to defend their values.
Now black conservatives are really taking heat for their involvement in the mostly white tea party movement - and for having the audacity to oppose the policies of the nation's first black president.

They couldn’t possibly be called “Uncle Toms” - Keith Olberjerk has assured me they don’t even exist.

This really pisses me off. I’m right there with them. I had better not hear any of this crap during Tea parties.

Well Done. Think for yourselves. The racist nonsense is the last thing in their quiver to divide us and cause us to hate each other. I am white and I am not buying hatred. What is best for America is best for me and all other citizens, Liberty, Freedom, and a Federal Government too small and weak to ever again threaten either. God Bless America!

They are Americans, just Americans.
Only those who deeply, truly hate the United States think of everyone being hyphenated Americans.

Hilary Shelton, director of the Washington bureau of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, suggested a bit of caution. "I'm sure the reason that (black conservatives) are involved is that from an ideological perspective, they agree," said Shelton. "But when those kinds of things happen, it is very important to be careful of the company that you keep." Translation: you all had better think twice about leaving the Democrat plantation...

These folks are truly brave. Good for them. They face real threats and harassment while Demo reps make up stories about being called bad names and being spit on, and they get the media attention. Not surprising at all but I hope the tea party folks hold true to their cause.

It's hard being liberal and touting the party line -
“there are no people of color in the Tea Party”
“Those blacks in the Tea Party are Uncle Toms - ah, that is, er...)

The Associated Press, a mostly white political organization, founded as a newsgathering company by mostly white men, continues to base it’s operations in the United States of America, a mostly white country. Why they do not move their headquarters to a country that is not mostly white is still unexplained. There are some who surmise that it may have something to do with the percentage of people who care to read the news, or anything, in countries that are not mostly white, but the majority of such questioners are mostly white.

They've been called Oreos, traitors and Uncle Toms, Would that constitute hate speech?
According to the race obsessives in the DNC, if you are black, but you are a constitutionalist, you aren't really black. If you are hispanic, and you are a constitutionalist, then you aren't really hispanic.
Which is fine. Conservatives, constitutionalists, believe in color-blind citizenship. If you don't believe in ethnic politics, if principle and character matter more to you than ethnic labels, then you are either one of us or you are headed our way. Welcome.

Tea comes in many colors and flavors. This is only about THE POLITICAL CLASS AGAINST THE WORKING CLASS.

In this Feb. 10, 2010 photo, Fox News political analyst Angela McGlowan announces at the Tupelo, Miss., City Hall, that she is running for the 1st Congressional District as a Republican. Black conservatives are taking heat for their involvement in the mostly white tea party movement, and McGlowan has spoken at several tea party events.
