Obamalateral Disarmament

National Security: Aiming at a world where nuclear weapons are obsolete, the administration's nuclear posture review leaves a world without American nuclear weapons and the backbone to use them.

After his stunning bombing of Pearl Harbor in 1941, Japanese Adm. Isoroku Yamamoto lamented that all that had been accomplished was to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.

Under policies announced by the Obama administration, a devastating chemical or biological attack on this country might merely awaken our very own Hamlet and fill him with a terrible sense of angst.

We have said before that rather than strive for a world without nuclear weapons, we should strive for a world without enemies willing to use them against us. Our retaliatory power should be unquestioned, as should be our willingness to use it. President Reagan called this proven and successful policy peace through strength. It has been replaced by a hair-splitting policy of nuance.

The U.S. is now promising not to use nuclear weapons against non-nuclear states that are in compliance with the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, even if they attack America with biological or chemical weapons or launch a paralyzing cyberattack.

This is good news for our enemies to know — they can wipe out much of New York City, but as long as their signature is on that piece of paper, their capital is safe from becoming a pile of irradiated rubble. We are not making this up.

Make no mistake about it; he knows exactly what he's doing.

And he knows exactly what the consequences are.

That's why he's doing it.

He hates Western Civilization.

He hates the United States.

His greatest dream is to destroy this country.

He knows the United States is the keystone to the arch of Western Civilization; if he destroys the US he destroys all of Western Civilization, ushering in a many-millenium era of barbarism.

WOW! This guy is out to destroy the country!

This idiot soooooo hates America.

This man child is gonna get us all killed

As long as his Presidential ass goes into the fire first, I retain a modicum of confidence that there will be at least something of these United States left to rebuild, and that it will be a drastically different place where this present brand of libtardism is NOT AT ALL tolerated; where tar and feathers are both in abundant supply, and regular use.

Obama’s kumbaya promises affect not only our own security, but that of allies and other countries we would like to be on our side. A country (like say, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, or South Korea) whose security depends on our defense umbrella is now far more vulnerable to threats or pressure from Al Qaeda, or rogue states countries like Iran or North Korea.

"Make no mistake about it; he knows exactly what he's doing."

Could be. But that is even more evidence his brain is the size of a BB. Despots never fared well in history.

They may not have fared well, but, they are responsible for a hellofalot of deaths. If you are one of the deaths, I suppose that it would be a small consolation knowing that they would not fare well.

This is becoming like Alice in Wonderland.

I have been absolutely sick about this. Physically.

He's now moving from slow national suicide (stimulus, deathcare) to immediate suicide.

But if you weren't surfing conservative web sites or listening to talk radio today, it would be just another day.

This is a treaty right? So then it has to be ratified by the Senate correct?

Does it matter? As far as I can tell, he just told the world that he won't push The Button.

It's like a nightmare we can't wake up from.

Then we keep doing what we are doing. Speak out against him and hope the 2010 elections go in the right direction. But this is how I see it. Obama is a drug addled freak from Harvard. He is not very intelligent. How he came to power is not all that hard to explain in light of the media and others pushing political correctness on racial quotas for far too many years. On top of that we have an entitlement minded electorate ignorant of The Constitution and history. This is the sixties nightmare coming to fruition. Any questions?

He did exactly that.

I think you are ON to something... he puts out notice that we will NOT retaliate with nukes, which sets us up for a Pearl Harbor style attack. He has ordered Muslims traveling scrutiny to be reduced, he wants to put the terrorists on trial in New York... -the only logical conclusion to all this is:
He, (or his handlers)... are looking to get us into a war! -Perhaps a false flag operation?
It's the perfect setup to put us into Martial law... and postpone elections. It IS a distinct possibility.
WHY else would any *sane* President announce beforehand that they would not retaliate?

Hold on... what if this IS intentional?
What if he and his cohorts are actually trying to get us into a war? It’s the ultimate distraction for a lot of things, including holding elections.

Think about it; we know just about everybody in his Regime hates this country... what better way to do us in then to actually *invite* an attack!

Because in the end they lose as well. I'm not saying you are wrong But just think about what I said. Obama is an idiot that believes his own BS. That is not to say he is not dangerous. He is no matter what his motivation is.

Same for his globalist elite handlers, who are dismantling America by design, because to them, it has served their purpose and must be destroyed.

If he puts us into a war, it doesn’t mean *he* loses... we do as a country, granted... but all sorts of civil rights get taken away, under martial law... and he might just retain his power.

That is always a possibility. But I think he is weak for several reasons. He went on the stump for health care after he signed it in into law. He skipped his trip to Indonesia. I believe he did the latter when he found his welcome may not have been as warm as he wished. I still believe he has Muslim leanings none the less. But there is no logic where Muslims are concerned. Whatever his motivations he is a danger to The Republic. No question.

I have been speaking out against him since before election day and it was as effective as trying to fill the ocean by spitting in it.

As far as the 2010 elections are concerned, if they are held I will be surprised. Not pleasantly, because I know that if the Democrats believe that they are going to get walloped, thete won’t be any. If they are held shows that the Democrats have found new ways to steal them.

If I recall correctly, George McGovern made the same announcement while campaigning for President in 1972.

If I also recall corrrectly, we've never had a President McGovern.
