US Defense Secretary Robert Gates said Tuesday that "all options" remained on the table to deal with Iran and North Korea despite a new US policy restricting use of nuclear weapons.
"If there is a message for Iran and North Korea here, it is that if you're going to play by the rules, if you're going to join the international community, then we will undertake certain obligations to you," Gates said.
"But if you're not going to play by the rules, if you're going to be a proliferator, then all options are on the table in terms of how we deal with you," he told reporters.
Gates was unveiling a new position by President Barack Obama's administration reducing the role of nuclear weapons.
The United States -- the only nation to have carried out a nuclear attack -- for the first time pledged not to use the weapons against a non-nuclear state in compliance with the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
North Korea has tested two nuclear bombs and in 2003 withdrew from the NPT in a showdown with the United States over its weapons programs.
Iran remains a member of the NPT but has been found in violation of the treaty as Western powers charge that it is pursuing nuclear weapons. The clerical regime says it only seeks the peaceful use of nuclear energy.

They’ve already told the bad guys everything they wanted to hear. This is window dressing for the rubes.
“And by ‘all options’ ,of course, he means 0bama bowing.”
All options can include such terrifying, attitude changing, game altering strategic moves such as ‘further discussions with our allies’, ‘issuing stern warnings’, ‘stressing the importance of rejoining the community of nations’, and ‘a personal note from Obama to the peoples of Iran/North Korea on your most sacred of holidays’.
Think Jimmy Carter here, than multiply his foreign failures by 100 fold, and well, you’ve reached Obama’s level of incompetence.
At least Carter kinda had a glimmer of a suspicion that things might not be going really well. Obama on the other hand, he thinks the world is his oyster and everything is peachy good!
All options but the military. Who is he kidding?
All Options On Table:
1) Run Away
2) Hide
3) BOHICA
4) Cry like a little girl
5) Fight like your grandma
6) Stamp pretty feet
My maternal grandmother could kick your ass silly before doing the morning chores. :-)

That leaves a Obama beer summit with the leaders of the two nations as the best way to resolve tensions said Obama press secretary Robert Gibbs.
Gibbs said “The beer summit was a tremendous success at resolving racial tensions here in the US. We view this domestic success as a model to resolve tensions with other nations. President Obama believes that if leaders can just sit down and share their difference; a new spring of world peace will break out”

I think I will go puke now. We are lead by fools.
“I think I will go puke now. “
Fortunately it was just my attempt at writing satire; and is not a real event.
For now.
I was thinking that might be the case when I couldn’t find it in the article. Unfortunately, your words are easy to believe. ;>)
