Is it just me, or is he actually trying to claim PERSONAL CREDIT for rescuing the Quecreek Miners?

Also drops a little tidbit that he was the "Economic Development Coordinator for Congressman John Murtha" (translation: I was the bagman bringing the DOD pork to your town)

Is it just me or does he remind you of Bob Casey? The Dems must be awful desperate to run this one.

Ah, I saw this ad the other day but I came in toward the end. I wondered what the heck this guy had to do with the miners. ‘Mr. Murtha’ indeed. He’s just saying to those old people, “I’m just another Murtha, vote for me.”.

Actually, the hero of the Que Creek Mine rescue was a guy named Schweiker. I think he was Lt. Governor of PA and a relative (son?) of former Gov. Schweiker.

I hope he runs to defeat Bobby Casey when Casey’s term is up (2012?).

But he seems to have bowed out of PA politics for now...
