A Greek man has sued a dairy firm in southern Sweden after his picture ended up on a Turkish yoghurt product.
The man whose picture adorns the Turkish yoghurt product, manufactured by Lindahls dairy in Jönköping, argues that the company does not have permission to use his image. He has now sued Lindahls for 50 million kronor ($6.9 million), according to Sveriges Radio (SR) Jönköping.

Given the level of historic hate between the Greeks and Turks, if I were Greek I wouldn’t want my mug to be used for a Turkish oriented product myself....however, he’s suing not to have his picture removed (so it appears) but for a piece of the profits......so.....he’s another greedy schmuck. Welcome to the human race.

Greedy my A**
He has the right to be paid for the use of his image/likeness/voice etc.
He is “selling” that product and deserves a commission.

He has the right to be paid for the use of his image/likeness/voice etc.According to the yogurt company, they bought the image from a photo marketer who had the legal rights to the image. If the marketer didn't, then he needs to sue the marketer - not the yogurt company (provided the yogurt company quits using the image thereafter).

Why'd they change it? I can't say.
