He is not denying the sovereignty of the Triune God alone. In Caritas in Veritate, he says. “Man is not a lost atom in a random universe. He is God’s creature, whom God chose to endow with an immortal soul and whom he has always loved. If man were merely the fruit of either chance or necessity, or if he had to lower his aspirations to the limited horizon of the world in which he lives, if all reality were merely history and culture, and man did not possess a nature destined to transcend itself in a supernational life, then one could speak of growth, or evolution, but not development...without the guidance of charity in truth, this global force COULD CAUSE UNPRECEDENTED DAMAGE AND CREATE NEW DIVISIONS WITHIN THE HUMAN FAMILY...HUMANITY RUNS NEW RISKS OF ENSLAVEMENT MANIPULATION.

That is a clear warning against the wrong kind of global warning!

Read the entire Encylical and try and comprehend it.

I bought the "entire encyclical" and I read the "entire encyclical."

And it is pure, unadulterated communism. It goes beyond socialism. It urges a confiscation of private property which is then given over to a "global authority."

Tossing in a few platitudes does not negate the obvious threat this encyclical poses to all freedom-loving men and women who desire to live in a free republic, and not in a commune.

Roman Catholics appear to have very little discernment when it comes to religion, politics and now, even common sense. If you want to live under a "global authority," then move to Finland or Cuba or Venezuela. As for me, I'll stay right here and try to protect the last vestiges of what was once the most noble and God-glorifying country in history.

Duplicitous writing is not impossible to understand.

What’s more difficult is understanding the rationalizations in support of it.
