“Exactly how long would a Civil War last today?”

It depends on who has the military on their side. If we do; it’s short, maybe a day or two. If the government does; only God knows how long; Northern Ireland comes to mind.

Then the Civil war was more of a revolution then a Civil war?
What do you call it when the feds declare war on half the populace?

Cokie Roberts is proof that some women lose their eggs and brain cells at the same time.

How about “what we have now”?

Actually, it will be a civil war / revolution combination. The government has substantial civilian support. But the attempt to overturn obamacare is not the first step; it is a reaction to the previous step.

Obama's announcements and actions at taking from the producers and giving to the non-producers, with the high government administrative costs was the first significant step.

I was once told that the original American revolution had only about 25% of public support.

But it seems the conservatives are the ones with personal firearms. If it comes to that, those alone will not be a match against the government's military. The issue is on which side that military will be.

Anyone have the photo of Kookie doing a report in a “snowstorm” bundled in a heavy winter coat? In reality, she was in studio in front of a green screen - total phony.

Other posters have correctly identified this as ‘revolution’. Considering the regime currently in charge, Ms. Roberts, that is nothing but a good thing.

I think that people tend to focus their venom on the ventriloquist dummy and not on the ventriloquist with their hand up the dummy’s butt. I could be wrong, but that’s how it seems to me.

Obamacare Provides A Room To Pump Breast Milk In
By MB Quirk on April 11, 2010 3:41 PM 0 views

(planet_oleary)

Whether you are a proponent of breastfeeding or not, the reality is that working mothers who do nurse their children need a place to pump during the workday, and the bathroom just might not do. Luckily for them, the new health care bill signed by President Obama includes provisions for nursing women in the workplace.

It requires employers to provide “a place, other than a bathroom, that is shielded from view and free from intrusion from co-workers and the public, which may be used by an employee to express breast milk.”

There are already laws on the books in 44 states allowing nursing mothers to breastfeed their children anywhere, public or private, something Ikea and Babies “R” Us have experienced first hand. In addition, 24 states already include legislation on workplace breastfeeding.

Ellen Galinsky, president and co-founder of the nonprofit research organization Families and Work Institute, tells CNN she’s pleased as punch over this new development. She says:

I agree — there IS a civil war coming. It will be between those who work and earn wealth and the government and the useless eaters.

The first step started when Obama got elected. But it was the Dems who started the war, not the Republicans.

Depends on who ends up with the AFVs and attack helicopters.

Unlike Iraqi terrorists, we (private citizens) don’t have the stuff available to take these out.
