Everyone knows that the first step towards the Civil War was the election of a Republican to the presidency. It was feared that the tariffs would be expanded to the territories, and this was an insufferable situation to the Southern states.

Cokie is wrong. It won't be a civil war, it will be a revolution.

Cokie's wrong. Implementing ObamaCare was the first step toward the New American Revolution: Reconstitutionalizing the Republic.

Sam Donaldson looks like a Vulcan.

Years ago I would refer to their show as “Cokie and the Vulcan Show”.

Lemme get this straight. States using the legal process to challenge federal legislation they sincerely think is unconstitutional, that's the same as firing artillery on a US military instillation? OOOOkayyyyyy.

"Civil war is when citizens oppose fellow citizens. When citizens oppose the government, we call that revolution. "

Both of these conditions are met. We oppose the government that has been created by a population of people who have thrown away their freedom and willingly placed themselves in shackles. One does not exist without the other.

Our fight is against this marxist government, for sure. But it is also against the fools who voted for this bull sh--. Unless and until we do something about them we will have no peace from tyranny because they will keep sending marxists to "represent" them.

This is no “Civil War”.
The “Civil War” wasn’t even a “Civil War”.

This, the War of 1861, and the War of 1776 are and were all independence movements.

We don’t want to be under your collectivist thumb.
Get it?

I’ve heard rumblings, and have seen some VERY nervous “liberals” following the healthcare cramdown.

They KNOW they’ve gone too far.

The main difference between a true civil war and the wars of 1776, 1861, and the present movement is that there is/was no intention of taking over the central government by force. They are/were all independence movements.

If we can’t take over the central government by ballot, and cut it down to size that way, we’re perfectly content with letting them crap in their own sandbox whilst we form a new free republic outside of their control.

I think these idiots are told what to say. Someone is giving them their talking points and they are parroting them. Shows how desperate the other side is.

Agreed, although I hold out no hope for the ballot box. I believe secession will be the only way to regain our freedom.

We have to cut the ties with the fools who vote for marxists or there is nothing we can do to fix this.

We must try the ballot box of liberty first.
Simultaneously, we need to encourage our state legislators
to pass sovereignty/nullification/DEFIANCE laws or amendments.

There will come a time when states finally say “enough”,
and the fedgov will attempt to impose its will by force.
That’s the time when the huge amounts of firearms and ammo
that were bought since 2008 will have to come into play.
