U.S. military officials tell NBC News that the U.S. Army will court martial a lieutenant colonel who refuses to deploy to Afghanistan because he considers orders from President Obama to be "illegal."
Army doctor Lt. Col. Terry Lakin believes Obama does not meet the constitutional requirements to be president and commander-in-chief

Thank you, butterdezillion.
I’m reminded of the Spec. 4 (Michael Neu (sic?)) back in the Clinton days who wouldn’t wear the U.N. beret and armband on a deployment, because he thought that he would be serving under a foreign general in a U.N. command. He said he signed up to serve in the U.S. Army and expected that everyone in his CoC would be U.S. Army. I admire this doctor’s courage of his convictions.
Your right, if this country winds up in a civil war, are we to worry about what the enemy calls us?
Which he didn't write.
Right. Let's see, "Although we possess the original document containing the name and contact information of the talk show host, we have decided not to publish his name or network affiliation at this time. "
Editor Korir strikes again. So much secret evidence that no one seems to ever feel its the right time to releae.
At questions is the officers refusal to obey a lawful order. In the Navy those orders are signed by the CNP not the President. I doubt Army orders are signed by the President. Therefore he is disobeying lawful orders from a senior officer. I was not a JAG, but I have dealt with similar issues.
On April, 25, 2010, Kenya’s Minitster of Lands, Mr. Orengo, stoood up in Kenya’s National Assembly and said that Obama was born in Kenya:
“...If America was living in a situation where they feared ethinicity and did not see itself as a multiparty state or nation, how could a young man born here in Kenya, who is not evern a native American, become the President of America?”

Army Lt. Col. Terry Lakin refuses deployment orders to Afghanistan; told he’ll be court-martialed for disobedience
By Colin Lindenmayer
###
A Greeley native is facing consequences for refusing to obey military orders.
On Monday, Army Lt. Col. Terry Lakin had his Pentagon access pass and laptop revoked, was read his rights, and was told he will be court-martialed for refusing to obey orders, including an order to deploy for a second tour of duty in Afghanistan.
Lakin, in his 18th year of active uniform service, posted a video on the Internet two weeks ago asking President Barack Obama to produce a birth certificate, and he vowed to disobey orders until one was provided.
According to a prepared release issued by the American Patriot Foundation Inc., Lakin was ordered to report Monday to Fort Campbell, Ky., to deploy to Afghanistan.
When he instead reported to work at the Pentagon, he was confronted by his brigade commander, Col. Gordon R. Roberts, who read Lakin his Miranda rights.
Lakin, who graduated from Greeley’s University High School, did not return phone calls Tuesday.
Margaret Hemenway has been handling media relations for Lakin and the Web site http://www.safeguardourconstitution.com, which is collecting donations to contribute to Lakin’s defense fund. She said Tuesday she had talked to Lakin briefly, and he isn’t sure what the outcome of his actions will be.
He’s very calm, and I think the whole thing has been handled civilly, she said in a telephone interview. He is working, but he’s not taking care of troops, which is what he excels at.
He just has to wait the process out and see what comes out of it.
But he’s not for a minute backing down on his original position.
Critics have questioned Lakin’s patriotism for choosing to defy orders to deploy. Hemenway rebutted by saying Lakin is defying all orders, not just those to deploy, and he has been deployed many times in his military career.
Lakin’s parents, Frank and Donna Lakin of Greeley, spent last week in the Washington area visiting Lakin. Frank Lakin said Tuesday in a telephone interview that although he and Donna may not see eye to eye with their son, they haven’t let the current situation affect their relationship.
We love our son, and we’re very proud of his
18 years of service, but we do have disagreements without being disagreeable, Frank Lakin said. But his choices and actions are his own. There’s so much we don’t know.
We have a good relationship, so I don’t want that misunderstood.

I think pushing Jews into furnaces on the excuse that they were just “following orders” has made officers cautious about making sure their orders are lawful. Silly of them, I suppose.

Butter is a hard-tested veteran of the quest.
As I said —this is a savvy forum...we will hardly be dilvulging to you, the “pearls” —so you can run back to “strategize”.
You’ll have to wait like everyone else.
God plese protect him. This is just more proof that Obama doesn’t give a rat’s behind about our troops. He could bring this to an end simply showing his long form BC. But no..Obama would rather see a talented soldier’s career ruined!
So will it come out before the "Whitey Tape"? I think that one has an earlier number on it.
You might want to check with Freeper, Roaddog727, as to what happens when you questions Bowrama’s birth certificate.
Army OFFICER oath of Service:
I (insert name), having been appointed a (insert rank) in the U.S. Army under the conditions indicated in this document, do accept such appointment and do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter, so help me God.
The Difference being in the Word/entity president.......
Therefore the orders come directly from his "senior officers" and not directly from the President.
Capiche the “Whitey tape” pharaoh?
Just a small correction, SatinDoll - the date was March 25, I think the thing was posted a couple of days ago.
No biggie but you know how people will jump on typos as though that undermined the content!
You don’t get the reference?
OOPS! Thanks for the heads-up.
“April 25, 2010,” should read “March 25, 2010”.
This is what happens when one is in a hurry. The correct date is on the linked transcript.
