MEXICO CITY (BNO NEWS) -- A large cargo plane crashed near Monterrey International Airport in northern Mexico on late Tuesday, killing at least several people, reports said.
The Airbus A300 belonging to AeroUnion went down shortly after 11 p.m. local time and crashed near the airport, causing a major traffic chaos. The Milenio newspaper reported that five crew members were believed dead.
The newspaper reported that most of the aircraft crashed on the grounds of the airport, although a turbine and wing fell off and landed on a highway near the airport. There were conflicting reports on if there were casualties on the ground.
The Reforma newspaper reported that the plane was taking off when the accident happened, and said it was bound for Los Angeles. It said weather is unlikely to have caused the accident, and said the death toll could rise further.
A large fire broke out after the aircraft crashed. The Mexican army and the Federal Police have cordoned off the area.

Duly noted. Any transplant organs shipped to you will travel in the 73rd car of a 104-car freight rain...
Most likely a cargo shift or balance problem.

How does your link relate to this thread?
When do I ever know what the heck i am talking about...
reminds me of something though : )
Ok, well I appreciate the link, anyway.
Thank you.
It bounced at least once, which is when the engine and wing broke off.
The rudder is still in it’s proper place in the pics of the crash I have seen.
7,000 Mexican’s claim to have been on the plane and injured. Lawsuits to follow. Investigators were unable to find even a single piece of the plane after the crash following the night-long looting that occurred.
RIP.
