UPDATE, 1:32 a.m.: And now comes something not altogether unexpected. Daniel Mauch, “francisnblake,” has gone dark.
He’s deleted all 21 of his YouTube videos. And he’s made his Facebook page private. Poof – he’s gone.
He posted in the comments below, and I asked him in reply if he knew the identity of “D-Bloc,” the blogger for the Iron Rail Book Collective’s blog who bragged about vandalizing French Quarter banks, and also bragged to Gambit’s Best Of New Orleans Blog about how “rich plutocrats shat themselves” following confrontations with the Iron Rail Gang’s protestors last Friday.
D-Mauch had nothing much to say about D-Bloc. He didn’t respond to my query. Instead, he decided to vanish.
You can decide this for yourself, but I’m thinking here that deleting the videos of that protest on Friday, and particularly the videos from outside Brennan’s, doesn’t help the Iron Rail Gang’s cause much. If in fact you’re innocent and you didn’t do anything wrong, then why wouldn’t you be proud to show the world how you stood up to those racist, bigoted Republicans? And if your group wasn’t responsible for beating the crap out of a pair of them, why do you need to hide your faces?
Oh, and by the way – Joanna Dubinsky is gone, too. Her facebook page is history.

Neither one denied involvement in what happened to Allee Bautsch and Joe Brown before they decided to vanish. I sure would have insisted on doing that. I would also have made a point to say how much I deplore violence. But that’s just me.

Hi folks. I was in New Orleans this past Friday night. I was dining within a half block of where the incident involving Allee Butsch (sic) happened. I joined this group so that I might share the info, as well as a photo I took. More to come…
It’s a pretty clear picture and if nothing else it’s worth complimenting Mr. Neal on his camera. It also appears that the shot does, in fact, show Joe Brown and Allee Bautsch. By comparison, here they are in normal circumstances:

We’re royally creeped out by all this, so we’ll leave it to the reader to draw conclusions. But it looks like Brown may have landed a punch or two given his scratched-up right hand. It also looks like he took a pretty hard shot to the right side of his head; he’s got a red stripe starting at his ear and going all the way to his cheek. Meanwhile, the look on Bautsch’s face is pretty harrowing.
Draw your own conclusions. But its sounds like Mr. Neal has something to say about what he saw on Friday night.

IIRC, a year after Katrina they were still selling t-shirts in the Quarter with a big NOPD on them...and, in a smaller font, NOT OUR PROBLEM, DUDE.
No offense to the nice people that got hurt, but I've never met a left I couldn't beat to a pulp. A gang of them? Eh, well, then your best bet is to grab the 'leader' and work him over while the others work you over.
I've also noticed that the lefty anarchist males tend to be short, small, white, snarky, ignorant of even base leftism. It seem to be a easy fit for social and economic losers of moderate intelligence. Too lazy for base work, too dumb and socialy inept for service or mind work.

Well, if conservatives could gin up an incident where they were posing as leftists getting beaten up by conservatives, the media would make that quite a circus. One of them might need to be a medical professional to overstate the injuries...unless someone can find a freshly broken leg somewhere.
Dishonest, sure, but it would certainly make a point about the double standard. Ought to be practiced on a regular basis, imho.
I usually jam them up by asking any question that would be a millimeter deep into their notions. They get the deer in the headlight look. It’s a social phenomenon. They have a few phrases they chant and that’s about it. It’s an attitude movement and it is inner looking. The event they are ‘protesting’ is a prop for them.

Should be no “what if” about it. It has to be enacted, so the fullblown media circus can be put on display. When it reaches maximum intensity the “victims” can remind the media about those 2 forgotten victims in New Orleans.
