National Public Radio has joined Snopes and UPI among websites that have changed their archives regarding Barack Obama to bring their stories into alignment, in NPR's case eliminating a statement about the "Kenyan-born" senator "since Obama was born in Hawaii."
WND reported recently when the archives of the subsidized broadcast outlet referenced Obama's birthplace as Kenya and called him a "son of Africa."

But the records were altered shortly after the WND story was posted, and NPR ombudsman, Alicia Shepard, has explained, "I would hope they would correct factually inaccurate information since Obama was born in Hawaii."
She explained further. "I have looked into it. Someone writing a summary of a story that aired on NPR incorrectly wrote that the story said Barack Obama was born in Kenya. The story said Obama's father was from Kenya."
However, she declined to explain what documentation or evidence provided the reason for the change.
Blogger Todd Starnes also asked NPR about the issue, and was told the statement was a "typo."

“We have always been at war with Eurasia.” [/Orwell]
OMG you read my mind! My next thought was Hitler did the same things.
So NPR's Alicia Shepard is pointing out that Resident Obama is NOT a Natural Born Citizen.
yes

We should also accept the two newspaper birth annoucements as fact. They also indicated that Resident Obama is NOT a Natural Born Citizen.
Pissy little Chrissie Matthews on yesterday’s show caught himself saying, in assailing pro-Constitution demonstrators’ motives, “They are against this president, the fact that he’s an immigrant...” (then he caught himself and snorted, “Well not actually an immigrant, hummina-hummina-hummina...”). I about blew my diet coke back out my nose it was so funny.
The main point should be: if this poser wants this office, he cannot declare a new era of transparency for everyone except himself.
It didn't dawn on them that that would disqualify him from the office.
Of course, Constitutional knowledge has never been their strong suit.
I believe that Obama was born in Hawaii, but its just a guess, I don’t know for sure. I have doubts that he is Constitutionally eligible to be President.
This leftie trend of shoving inconvenient information down the memory hole is very troubling. The fact is that some people believe that Obama was born in Kenya. If you reported that, and later discover an error in fact, you issue a correction, you don’t go back and change history.
The real problem here is that the press have made a decision to protect and defend the Obama life story with nothing more than the man’s assertion. They have consistently refused to look into the facts and circumstances of his early life despite many indicators that something is amiss. They are losing their right to call themselves journalists and have become the Adjunct Propaganda Ministry.
Wow. NPR is staffed with Birthers. Who knew?
The fellow in post #15 is Nikolai Yezhov, once head of the NKVD. Can you tell me who is disappearing in your post #16? I don’t think I’ve seen that one before. It’s a good find.
And by the way.... NPR = National Progressive Radio

and
I include O'Reilly in this. I believe that when O'Reilly had that 2-part pre-election interview with Obama, Obama indicated to Bill that he was refusing to release his real documents just to play with his opponents and get them all wee-weed up over the "Birther" thing. This would make them look bad.
O'Reilly swallowed this story hook, line and sinker. Obama just smiled.
I don’t know. It was the photo I went out to find when I came across the river one. I guess until the next life, we will continue to have corrupt people who try to modify history. All their iniquities will be revealed in time.
It is possible, he will gradually modify his views, but he will always believe he was right - even if his new views are opposite of his old.
I used to like and watch him, but I tired of his creepiness.
I suspect that was not a “beam me up Scotty” event eh.
He's stated the theory that Obama is just playing with his opponents to make them look bad.
The only thing: O'Reilly purports this to be his own theory - not that Obama dropped it on him.
BO looks photoshopped into that photo.

I'm just hoping that Malia Obama doesn't become a discipline problem, because ... you know ...
O’RunnethOver was banished from this house over his non journalistic mistreatment of the Swiftboat Vets. He can buy his way out of most but not the truth.
Yep, those are the ones he admires.

How many typos does it take before they get it right?
Whoa... Do you have a link to some video of that? Good one.
I actually remember after the 2004 Election (I was watching it closely as I was hoping Reid would get thrown out of office), the media was talking about how great Barack Obama was, and how he was NOT eligible to become President, but to look for him to become a powerful political force (to paraphrase).
I remember thinking, “Who cares about this guy?” and “Why should he be special?” I remember my father (Who no longer lived in Nevada) asking about the Reid election, and I said he won and we talked about Barack Obama, and my father said he was notable because he was claimed to be an “Articulate Black man.”
I knew something was awry then, and I see it ever clearer now. I feel certain this is a cover up, and I think you’re right, his Kenyan nativity was supposed to be touted to make him a favored candidate at one point, but then was realized to be a boo boo. It’s notable people talked about adding an ammendment at that time because of Schwartzeneggar, but that never went anywhere, maybe they were hoping to have the fix in before he’d be propelled to “Power.” It’s good evil always opens it’s mouth first, bad that so few have long memories and pay attention.
My first thought: “Looks photoshopped.”
What is that top picture? And do you know who is missing? What is the identity of those whose faces are encircled?
Any link substantiating this would be most helpful!

NPR changes archive regarding president's birth
WorldNetDaily ^ | APRIL 15, 2010 | Bob Unruh

[Thanks, danamco.]
I will dig. I know it’s only anecdotal, and suspect, but I’ll tell you why I remembered. It was the first election I voted in, and I was glued to the TV. I was pretty annoyed about hearing about this “Obama,” because at the time, it sounded very much like “Osama” and I was only just new to local (state) politics.
I don’t even remember which network it was on, so I’ll have a hard time finding something if they even exist anymore. But I am positive of it, because when I first saw Barack Obama in the Primaries in 2008, I was asking my dad “I thought he was the guy who couldn’t run, wasn’t he?”
Anyway, while my own memory doesn’t serve as “proof” I just wanted people to know what my experience WAS. Whether or not this issue is something that can be “won,” people need to know that they’re NOT crazy, because the proponderance of evidence is, that’s Obama is an Immigrant. Richardson said it, Michelle hinted to it, Obama’s family has said it, and people have reported on it. This is a big coverup, and people are not crazy for recognizing the inconsistencies.
Obama quote: Whether we like it or not, America is still a superpower.
Cool, Alicia has the long form! With so many talking heads having seen and touched the real honest to goodness original BC with all the proper signatures, seals and filing dates one would think one of them would place it online to end all this speculation once and for all.
He could have been born in Hawaii, Kenya, or smack dab in the middle of the Lincoln Bedroom and it wouldn't make him Constitutionally eligible. He admits his father was a Kenyan - - - that's the end of his eligibility right there. Please read what his (yep, The One himself) definition of a NBC is: http://www.scribd.com/doc/25337874/SR511-Technically-a-Dfinition-of-NATURAL-BORN-CITIZEN
What’s that first picture of? What was the conclusion of who might have been photoshopped out of these?
I hold the same view, but the last time I checked, the Federal Government was not obligated to comply with my opinion. The courts have not ruled on this issue to the best of my knowledge, and they are certainly behaving like they don’t want to rule on it. They will probably be content to let the politicians and the voters sort it out. One more Constitutional provision conveniently ignored.
Does anyone know if it is possible to investigate the flight manifests of airliners coming out of Kenya in 1961?
Just asking....
America, th enew home of the Iron Curtain!

If you recall, in Orwell’s 1984, the occupation of Winston Smith was to go back and change news accounts to reconcile them to current political positions of the fascist state.
He was about 30 years early, but Orwell was correct in his predictions.
“Does anyone know if it is possible to investigate the flight manifests of airliners coming out of Kenya in 1961?”
AFAIK, our conclusion is that the airlines wouldn’t let a 9 month pg Ann board nor would they allow a newborn fly. Ann’s friend Susan Blake (Botkin) said that Ann had sent her a postcard from a ship. FR is thinking The Black Star Line but that company has gone out of business so not much luck finding manifests from there. Check out:

I didn't know his father was also a US Senator, which in itself is problematic, since he was not a US citizen. :)
A typo is when you misspell a word and the mispelling is a different word. Or when you write "there" and mean "their". You don't make a typo that says "Kenyan born" when you meant "his father was Kenyan".
Then of course there are all the other stories, many from Afrika, saying that the Senator was Kenyan born, and the transcript from the Kenyan Parliment where the Minister for Lands stated that BHO Jr was "not even a native American", on March 25, 2010, less than a month ago.
All these "mistakes" sort of strain credulity way past it's elastic limit.
