Why all of a sudden is OK City Bombing Ceremonies Hot News?
Fox | Self

Posted on 04/19/2010 7:17:07 AM PDT by Marty62

Why is Fox pushing so hard this AM to marginalize dissenting Americans?

Hemmer/MacCullum pushing the OK City Bombing.

Over the past 15 years I only remember blips about memorial ceremonies. Same with 9-11 memorial services.

Now all of a sudden the msm is trying to propagandize the dissent of Today with the Islamofascist terrorist and the McVeigh bombing.

Everyone involved with the TPM should voice their outrage at the obvious attempt to slander the TPM.

Maybe we should have a national day of remembrance for the bombing of Sterling Hall at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Leo Frederick Burt was indicted in absentia, but never apprehended. I think that remembering the crimes of the Weather Underground is especially apropos at this time, when William Ayers is being elevated to the highest levels of government.

OH yes. No one has the guts to ask Zero if he disassociates himself from the beliefs and actions of WU/Ayers/Dorne.

This will be the fortieth anniversary of the bombing of Sterling Hall and that killed a graduate student, injured several others and did 6 million dollars worth of damage to a government building. That bombing marked the change in philosophy from pacifism to bombing for peace among the domestic terrorist groups.

I agree that there IS a news element to the OKC memorial in Oklahoma with some national coverage. However Bill Clinton jumped the gun and already has used that event (and anniversary) to smear the Tea Parties.

It is HYSTERIA to draw that conclusion.

Recall that in his final years in office, Bill Clinton sent the FBI on a goose chase looking into a (non)racist “rash” of Southern church fires INSTEAD of following up on Al Qaeda agents in America who’d overstayed travel visas and were training to fly jet airliners with no interest in learning how to land.

In the wake of the discovery of Project Bojinka, our investigative resources were wrongly misused for partisan propaganda purposes.

There are even possible ties between Terry Nichols and the Phillipines plot. But the impeached president still uses a tragic event to smear his opposition.

Will we see anniversaries of the Kobar Towers bombing? The USS Cole bombing?

In 2012 it’ll be the 40th anniversary of the Pentagon bombing by Bill Ayers. That’s won’t be good for the DNC’s efforts to distance Ayers and Obama.

You notice no mention of this event that happened on the same day in 1993.

Must not meet the MSM's agenda.

I lived in Corpus at the time.

I just stood there crying at the thought of those poor children and the fear they must have felt.

Moments after 9:02 AM on April 19, 1995, investigative TV journalist Jayna Davis found herself staring at the smoldering shell of the Alfred P. Murrah Building with a photographer by her side recording the unspeakable bloodshed and carnage. The horrifying images were broadcast via satellite to the world, documenting America's deadliest terrorist attack of the 20th century.

Within twenty-four hours, KFOR-TV’s news director tapped Jayna to cover the FBI’s international manhunt for the elusive John Doe 2. Initially, the Justice Department was desperate to find the mysterious Middle East suspect, but for unexplained reasons, abruptly abandoned its pursuit of the third terrorist. Did he even exist? Eyewitnesses assured Jayna that he did.

Yes, but the excuse that the supporters of the WU put out is that they didn’t kill anyone but members of their own group in all the other bombings, so Sterling Hall is the one to remember. August 24, 1970. I think that the young man who lost his life in that bombing was Arnold Fasnacht, or something like that. I should look it up.

My husband knew Leo Frederick Burt.

More than a few of secretly indulge in the fantasy that McVeigh was a hero. He was a stupid coward, but let’s examine it for what it was: a specific act of revenge for Janet Reno’s slaughter of the innocents at Waco. Comparisons with the Tea Party only reveal the mindless fear of the elitists. They should be reassured. The next revolution won’t be like the wanton looting and burning of the 60s, it won’t be like the Rodney King riots. It won’t be a pointless and counterproductive revenge bombing. Not to say that those kinds of things won’t happen, but they won’t be coming from successful middle class Americans. The next revolution will be bloodless. It will involve de-funding and purging liberal fascism from the media propaganda machine and the academia indoctrination machine. The government is going to choke on its own debt and its mangled mass of intertwining bureaucracy. No one has ever explained why Bill Clinton exposed all those innocent federal employees to danger by co-locating them with the ATF.

We need FOX news to start TELLING AMERICA how the WACO massacre that reno and clinton ordered (wasn't hillary helping out temp attn general at the time-web hubbell-while reno got her feet wet?) that BURNED LITTLE CHILDREN TO DEATH not to mention their moms, and that horrible event motivated McVeigh to arm himself and bomb a federal bldg?

It was not talk radio or conservative groups that got McVeigh into slaughter mode, it was actions by bill clinton and his sorry mob of thugs.

Same reason the Democratic Party, through dirty tricks, paid off American Nazis to turn out and march in Los Angeles and get in the face of illegal alien supporters. To create controversy and to create a narrative on a national level, to Reichstag Fire the Conservatives on the installment plan, through very clever and subtle timing and tone of articles and imagery. They arent that stupid. They have the best minds of Madison Avenue and K Street working for them, overtime, to slander the Tea Party movement through innuendo, straw dog, and guilt by association. We should have known this was coming.
