The 2010 election was already shaping up to be a bloody battle for Democratic incumbents but some now have to worry about friendly fire as well: Big Labor is trying to purge Democrats they don't like. Some unions are backing primary challenges in Colorado and Arkansas. In North Carolina, a union actually is trying to create its own third party. In all cases, unions brush off charges that this would just split the vote. They're fed up with these moderate Democrats.

So they will purge what, all 2 or 3 of the “moderates?”

Good!
The more loony left their candidates are, the easier they will be to defeat in November. Let's just pray the unions suceed in getting some really far left extremists win the Dems primaries.

Go for it I say. Let’s eliminate the mushy middle and make everyone’s choices in the ballot box perfectly clear. Most of the moderates are only moderate before the election anyways.

Yes, it would be absolutely best if there were a clear choice.

It would be even better if leftists were actually
HONEST
about their ideology and their goals.

But they know, as we do, that they’d get about 10-15% of the vote if they did.

Moderate Democrats? IMO, no such thing!

They are simple eating their own because they have fresh new replacements in the wings. Everyone knows the left always needs a scapegoat...even if it’s one of their own.

Hey, is that a picture of Obama’s boyfriends from his college days? I heard they were pretty rowdy and heckling him at the DNC fund raiser in Cali?

Unions are back to being thugs in this case, for Obama. There is precious little "Democratic Party" - Progressives have taken over. In AZ it matters not a whit if a teacher chooses not to belong to the AEA, that teacher must pay dues to that Teachers Union.

Barack Obama is Mr. Union and Mr. Freddie and Fanny Mae & Mac.

I’m still getting stuck on the “moderate” democrats thing. Exactly how often did Lincoln vote AGAINST Hussein and company? And of course Stupak’s phony claim to moderate/pro-life status is long gone. Apparently big labor wants EVERYBODY to be a Marxist through and through!

Oh good they are going to help us get republicans into those seats. They love uber lefties that most sane people won’t vote for.
