NEW YORK (AP) Producers of "South Park" said Thursday that Comedy Central removed a speech about intimidation and fear from their show after a radical Muslim group warned that they could be killed for insulting the Prophet Muhammad.
It came during about 35 seconds of dialogue between the cartoon characters of Kyle, Jesus Christ and Santa Claus that was bleeped out.
"It wasn't some meta-joke on our part," producers Trey Parker and Matt Stone said. Comedy Central declined to comment.
Earlier this week, the radical group Revolution Muslim said on its website that "South Park" had insulted their prophet during last week's episode by depicting him in a bear costume.
The group said it wasn't threatening Parker and Stone, but it included a gruesome picture of Theo Van Gogh, a Dutch filmmaker killed by a Muslim extremist in 2004, and said the producers could meet the same fate. The website posted the addresses of Comedy Central's New York office and the California production studio where "South Park" is made.

I applause the producers of South Park, as they are truly talented as well as ballsy. They don’t back down from anyone, and they are true comedians that as the late great Carlin would say are “equal opportunity offenders; if you haven’t been offended, just wait a minute.”
Somehow I suspect that the reaction of Comedy Central would be far different than this if Sarah Palin threatened The Daily Show.
Bowing down to Islamonazi terrorism is cowardice.
Viacom-Comedy Central have also revealed themselves to be antiChristian and antiBuddhist bigots who see no hypocrisy in airing insulting portrayls of those and other faiths while sheltering “poor whittle Iswam”.
This is the new ObamaNation! Christian bashing is acceptable and even expected. Just don’t say anything bad about the Muzzies or you’ll DIE!
meanwhile muslims tell the army that a Christian cannot say a prayer for prayer day
just what the hell.
it’s high time many in this country got some balls and told them to piss off if they do not like our free speech or our laws or even how we live and make jokes
Exactly right. Does this really surprise anyone? If these networks and the media as a whole is not even brave enough to take on, or speak out against xero, what makes anyone thing they will when it comes to islam?
islam is a religion of peace.....you had better agree or muslims will kill you!
There are only three types which can agree with the filth of islam; sneaks, cheats and liars, cowards or homo-leninists!
They can't very well come after us by the millions. Every time I see a story about Muslim unwillingness to allow First Amendment Rights to Americans, I make sure to post the most offensive thing I can find.
We own this country through our Constitution, and they can go suck hind pork teat.
We had better nip this Islamocrap stuff in the bud right damn now. Else we will be the UK all over again.
This country has a “Take Your Child” to work mentality, not a “Take Your Child Bride” mentality. If you have the latter, time for you to go back to a place that has a lot more sand and oil in it.
Shocking that I am in 100% agreement with Jon Stewart on this. Wow!
Scroll down about a third of the way..
Allah resigns in shame
But they DIDN’T depict Mohammy in a bear suit. It was Santa Claus in the bear suit the whole time!
The whole episode was about putting Mo ham, Ed, in a machine to extract from him “the power not to be made fun of”. Tom Cruise got it for a few minutes, but then it went away. That’s when the speech started, and it was one long bleep. The whole episode was difficult to understand because they bleeped out every mention of The Ham One and he was mentioned A LOT.
Well, when CC does things like this, they just point the rhetorical howitzer of Stone and Parker right back at themselves.
>This country has a Take Your Child to Work” mentality, not a Take Your Child Bride mentality.
Considering the “health care reform” bill defines ‘child’ as 26 or younger, it might not be fair to say we don’t have a “Take Your Child Bride” mentality. (I’m 27, and pretty interested in a 22 year-old girl.)
I hate muzzles and I hate i-slam. At your throat or at your feet. Like dogs.
So, let me see if I understand this: they were intimidated by Muslim groups into removing an exchange about “a speech about intimidation and fear” as it relates to Islam? No irony there.
Excuse me, but since when is it legal to make a pretty not-veiled threat to murder someone? And online? Why aren’t they rounding these nuts up?
And what happens with the DVD release?
male or female child bride ???
“Earlier this week, the radical group Revolution Muslim said on its website that “South Park” had insulted their prophet during last week’s episode by depicting him in a bear costume.”
Should have showed him in a burka.
Viacom & Comedy Central bow down to the Islamo-Fascists.
9 y.o. Aishe, female. Look at the poster in the link. Who knows how many little boys the pervert diddled on the side...
My favorite response to the images...

u ar all of u how say that about profet mohamed and jezus you dont have mainds and i wel say we ar caming to kill al most of u whit bonb and whit hand and stret and evry wel becous you ar mor than animals.
It’s hard to admit this as a Christian, but more and more I agree with you. It’s time for a really good bloodletting among the muzzies.
The west once had it’s aggressive peoples that built great nations. But the French lost it in 1916 after the bloodletting of Verdun, the British lost it after the bloodletting of the Somme and the Germans lost it in 1943 after Stalingrad.
The militant muzzies are willing do die for their Allah and his pedophile prophet. I believe we should accommodate them. If we continue to cower before them they will only become more dangerous (as if that’s possible). The survivors will be more reasonable.
“Heh, if the muzzies are offended by South Park, they’ll have an apoplectic fit about a poster a small Swedish party uses: It depicts Muhammad nude, holding his also nude child bride’s hand.”
If madmo is the “perfect” prophet then why do the barbarians get their panties in a bunch when someone actually states what’s in the koran? Just like the movie FITNA. All Wilders does is replay what the muzzies are spewing. If it’s hate speech for Wilders then why is it not hate speech for the idiot imams? I’m sooooo confused!
“Should have showed him in a burka.”
Yeah with female parts down below! Just to make the point of what a pu**y he is!
HMMMM, might be a good plot line!
Jon Barf Stewart had a decent rant on the South Park incident, ending with a Gospel Choir telling the Muslim threatener, “Go f*** yourself!”
I saw the episode and it was a crock of crap. They didn’t even show MoHAMmid. South Park is still gutless and cowardly. Perhaps they knew threats would come and are using this to get more publicity and viewers.
I didn’t think it was particularly funny or scathing. In his solidarity with his “good friends” (yeah, right) Matt and Trey, he brought on his Muslim correspondent who explained that cartoons of Muhammed *are* offensive and that he’s the real victim because he feels forced to wear an American flag because of all those violent Christians in Manhattan that want to kidnap him and cut off his head. Take THAT you terrorists!

Yeah, I’ve been thinking that some of our critters and candidates should fight osama by repeating back the exact things he has said, like “you’d think they’d be thanking me that’s what you’d think”.
Uh... dude, I think you’re missing the point. They were demonstrating that you don’t even HAVE to show moham to get death threats, and exploring the “magic power not to be made fun of” that he seems to have. It wasn’t even hammy in the bear suit, it was Santa Claus. People just THOUGHT it was the hambone.
The finale w/the choir was OK.
Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.
It was pretty dang funny, actually.
Up next, Jon Stewart about how Islam is peaceful and loves others....
And........we’re supposed to care about ‘southpark’.......?huh? When have they ever been funny?
**And what happens with the DVD release?**
cue: enter dancing girls with bomb vests
**.were supposed to care about southpark...**
Southpark today, FREE REPUBLIC Tomorrow???
get your head out
Everywhere we look, testosterone is in short supply. No one stands up to B.O.; no one stands up for Franklin Graham; no one stands up to Muslim bullies, White House bullies, or bullies in general. Why is everyone running scared like little schoolgirls???? We need people like Sheriff Joe Arpaio in Arizona in all walks of life.
