The Media Rehabilitation of Eliot Spitzer

Let's face it...

The "media" is headquartered around Times Square in Manhattan, and Spitzer is a Manhattan creature.

Is anyone surprised that the MSM is trying to bring Spitzer back?

.......when you look at the vote margins from 1998, you can see that the margin was approximately the same as the likely loss of votes from Pataki telling Vacco to eschew the Right to Life line. If Vacco had kept it, he'd probably have held Spitzer off.......

Thanks---nice insight.

The main hallway leading to the Executive Chamber is in itself, filled with prestige and honor. This is known as the "Hall of Governors." As a lasting tribute to their leadership, tradition holds that upon leaving office, the governor, at his own expense, commissions his portrait to be painted and displayed along with the other former great leaders of our state and this nation. U. S. Presidents Grover Cleveland, Martin VanBuren, Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, as well as former Vice Presidents George Clinton and Nelson Rockefeller all have their place in New York's "Hall of Governors."

Rest assured that a portrait of Elliot Spitzer will NEVER grace this hallowed hall.
