MSNBC Airs Ad Casting McConnell As Criminal
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Posted on 04/26/2010 5:07:13 PM PDT by governsleastgovernsbest

Isn't the MSM supposedly opposed to the coarsening of the political dialogue? We've all heard the hand-wringing about the mean ways those awful Tea Partiers and their ilk have depicted Pres. Obama and other Dems. So why, then, would MSNBC take money from MoveOn.org to air an ad portraying Republican leader Mitch McConnell as a criminal, right down to having him hold a mug-shot placard?

Yes, there I was, watching this evening's Ed Show for my sins, when the ad appeared . . .

I wouldn’t worry about it.
The vewiers of this “Ed Show” (all 5 of them), are card carrying Daily Kos/Moveon members anyways, so their ads are not exactly going to move any normal voters to vote for the Demonheads. Most of us would never have heard of it, of not for this post, and neither would 99% of American voters.

This is fair play. You should be complaining about Republicans refusing to portray Dims as criminals and the slaughter of babies as murder in cold blood.

I believe I read Dan Abrams was fired but I believe he was simply “let go” from his position at MSNBC since he appears on NBC to give legal commentary every so often. No love lost between he and Olberman.

Okay .. here it is again: PROJECTION!

This is how the dems/libs/progressives operate. This is ALWAYS HOW THEY OPERATE.

If they blame McConnell as “unfit to lead” .. they’re really telling on themselves; the dems/libs/progressives are really the ones who are unfit to lead. But .. they have to accuse you .. in order to shift blame from themselves.

Get it ..??

Charles Krauthammer described this as a psychological disorder (and I saw and heard Charles give this explanation). When you envy another person .. then the best way to get back at them is to accuse them of doing the very evil deed you’re doing; have done; or plan to do.

This is why the dems/libs/progressives always use personal destruction instead of real policy issues.

I cannot understand why people continue to fall for this garbage. There is nothing new here.

Okay .. let’s go back to the election in 2000 - What was it that Gore’s people were saying: “Bush is a drunk; Bush was a frat boy; Bush did Cocaine, ad nauseum. Funny thing .. it turned out that although Gore did graduate from Yale, Bush had better grades; Gore flunked out of Yale law school - for drinking; and Gore was removed from Divinity School - for drug use. Bush graduated from Harvard Business School with a Masters in Business.

Is anybody seeing the connection yet ..?? Everything that Gore smeared Bush with .. were actually things that Gore had done. It’s the same - PROJECTION!!!

I know this is a real psychological issue - because I was married to a person like this. The accusation - I was cheating with everybody .. but in truth (later confirmed by former co-workers) they were the person who was cheating. It’s devastating .. and that’s the intended consequence. People are so shocked and there seems no way to defend against it.

The best way to defend against it is to STAND UP AND CALL THEM THE LIAR THEY ARE!! DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO CALL YOU NAMES - EVER!!

Charles Krauthammer described this as a psychological disorder...

In general, liberalism is an infantile mental disorder.
