Arizona has a serious problem and the new law will help to combat it.

It was a female employee if I remember correctly. She should be tried for treason

The Cartels are beginning to control swaths of territory on the Mexican side of the border, and have infiltrated govt. on the US side as well as on the Mexican side. The border is not controlled by any side. It is being openly contested now, and the cartels are using larger forces in predations (twelve truckloads of armed attackers the other day in Mexico). Thank God for AZ, hope Texas follows. That should increase pressure on N Mex to handle increased pressure from the South that will be channelled there soon. The biggie is Texas. It is interesting that the Border Patrol has been preventing from setting foot in lands along the border “controlled, but not patrolled” by the Dept of the Interior and Agriculture...do the cartels operate there with impunity?

Recently, Obama directed a significant part of the NASA budget for climate data collection. Could the predator missions over the US/Mexican border be directed to gather some more warm temperature data instead of border, immigration control duties? No one really knows what the data assignment is or what will be done with the info. As for “drone bees”, sounds like RandD to me.

You should always remember that what the press calls "cartels" are in fact mafias. Mexican mafias.

And mafias are all about extended families.

In all the government offices in Arizona, and other border states, you will find armies of Mexican females doing secretarial work, counter work, clerical etc.

They are all somebody's cousin. Or Tia. Or sister. Or even wife.

And those "somebody's" many times live on the other side, and view their relative as a resource. For crime.

And who would that be? The Mexican mafia's.

It happens all the time there. Why? Because affirmative action requires them to hire people that normally wouldn't make it past the initial background checks. And firing them is of course out of the question....lawsuits, ya know?

So probably everything within the government files is basically...in the hands of the traffickers.

This is yet another reason why Arizona's law was necessary. Draining the swamp. Now they won't have cousin Fernando nearby....he's gotta call them from Hermosillo. And that means international lines that can be tapped...no court order needed.

Life just got a little harder for the narcos.

Not a shock that government employees are aiding drug and immigrant traffickers.

I think suddenly the feds are going to become “effective”.

I think suddenly the feds are going to LOOK “effective”.

In fact, I bet Obama’s advisers are probably trying to figure out how to take partial credit for this among Arizona voters, without pissing off the national Latino constituency they so much wish to court in the upcoming elections.

Good questions, good points to ponder.

My own suspicion is the drones are the basis for early warning to the cartels by those Politicians and subordinates within our government that are paid off by the cartels. I don’t know this, but I believe much of the woes we suffer at the hand of the Leftist criminals in power today are due to the power of the criminal drug hustling society.

You got it man. The narcos smelled weakness from the U.S.

So they went for it.

The frenzied screaming, the wailing and gnashing of teeth....is probably organized and managed by them. See if they can intimidate the Gringos into backing down. Because this is the first time anyone has shown any resistance in YEARS.

Remember that when you see the "civil rights" demonstrators in Phoenix: that shady guy over in the corner works for the narcos....and he's pushing everyone to do something.

Because he want's us to back down, so they can control the "border", not us.

It's a real live war. People don't get that.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio sez:

"I don't know how to stop the drug traffic, and I've been in it for 38 years," the sheriff, widely touted as the toughest cop in the nation, told Harper's in 2001. "I think if I knew, I'd be the president. I can give you what's been said 50 years ago. ... It's the same thing we're saying today – tough law enforcement, prevention, rehabilitation ... Nothing's changed. The stuff coming across the border that we catch? Ten percent. Fifty years ago, 10 percent. Today, 10 percent. Nothing's changed ... I don't know how to solve the problem. Don't ask me."

You should read the constitution and learn the actual definition of treason. It’s the only defined crime in it.
