Jose Armenta, a 33-year-old illegal immigrant from Mexico's western coast, is already planning to move to Utah within the next 20 days because of a combination of the economy and the new law.

I can see we're going to have to light a fire under the Utah legislature to get our own law into place.

“Those same Liberals who scream “racism” at Arizona’s law, very often don’t even treat Hispanics like human beings when they come to their house to work. “

Another fine Example of Liberal Projection Syndrome.

“Arizona (Texas, New Mexico and CA) should be picking up the border-crossers and paying for a one-way bus ticket to Washingon, DC. It is a Washington problem and Washington should be forced to deal with it. They’d have the Washington Mall filled with illegal squatters in about a month. Then maybe the hacks on both sides of the aisle would understand the magnitude of the problem. “

Excellent Idea!

Many day laborers like Diaz say they will leave Arizona because of the law...

Now the game is on for other states to follow suit. (Except California and New Mexico, of course.) Any state that dilly-dallies is going to be crushed. Maybe the states that will not follow Arizona's lead should advertise that fact. I hear there are going to be big crowds on May Day.

Years ago, in the SE of California, a town actually paid to move folks out, if they were financially destitute. The deal was, for the help, they promised not to come back.

It still happens re giving losers one way bus tickets and a handout of freebies at their new resource.

Our community about 13 years ago went overboard with programs for the “homeless”.

I stopped helping these do good programs when I saw leaflets given to some of these people describing the land of plenty, our town, to the homeless. They were often given one way bus tickets and some pocket change to come here.

Fortunately, Greyhound closed its terminal here, and that stopped a large portion of the new homeless from other areas.

Y’know, that’s kinda what the you-know-what the intent of such laws *is*, thanks for understanding.

Thanks Bigtigermike.
