****sigh****
Her sessions with Nelson Riddle (”What’s New,” etc.) were some of the best tracks ever.
That being said... hey Linda, STFU.
Thank you.

A few years ago I remember her saying something about people burying their faces in mashed potatoes rather than bash Bush, or something of that nature.
All I have to say is it looks like she may be the one with her face in the 'taters.

Actually, I saw Linda Ronstadt perform with Leo Kottke as her headliner in 1974 at the Harrisburg Farm Show Arena; so I know perfectly well who she is, or at any rate, who she
was. It was a decent concert, punctuated by one cringe-inducing moment: during a pause in the set-list, folks were screaming requests and somebody yelled out "Whipping Post!" Linda cluelessly deadpanned, "somebody told me that was an Allman Brothers song... but I've never heard of it, and I'm an Allman Brothers freak." The silence at that bit of idiocy was palpable.
I saw her on CNN tonight. She looks more like Linda Ellerby now.

yeah, I liked Linda’s singing at the time too....Blue Bayou is still somewhat haunting.....some down the line she lost it.....maybe because of moonbeam’s influence? Can’t say but seems to be a factor..... I think that Tucson is a somewhat liberal town and that may explain linda better....
I’d say something about her losing her good looks, but stones and glass houses don’t mix.....lololololol

She appears to have gotten chubby, like that one gal from Heart. I still listen to Ronstadt’s songs though, super voice. Hasten Down the Wind being my favorite CD.

There’s the spirit! Linda was very good in her day. She’s chubby? That seems to be a fine antidote to turkey neck and wrinkles.
