Posted on 05/04/2010 5:20:15 PM PDT by pissant
Chris Matthews, on Tuesday's Hardball, brought on two former CIA officials to discuss the latest terror attack, and the MSNBC host agreed with Tyler Drumheller that the most recent attacker was motivated by his house being foreclosed on and also agreed with Robert Baer who feared another attack could lead to "The Tea Party being strengthened" which could lead to "people blaming the White House for a situation it didn't create." Baer also hit Matthews' sweet spot of talking points when he went on to warn that the last successful terror attack "got us into a war in Iraq we didn't need to be in." [audio available here]

Well, nobody goes running to libtards when they’re under siege.
We are being attacked by Muslim extremists and they are worried about Granny's tea parties.
I hope the Tea Party becomes very strong so we can save the nation from the Muslim extremists and also the Socialists who have taken over the country from within with the help of the media dingbats.
Hey, CHRIS, he was doing his JIHAD. Something Muslims have to do to get into Heaven. It wasn’t because he lost his house. He didn’t even WANT the house, he wanted 70 virgins.
One thing to remember with the Bolsheviks is that it doesn’t matter how many people die. The first question on their mind is “how can I turn this to my political advantage?”
If a home foreclosure was the motive, then why are there not millions of similar bombings in NYC by other foreclosed property owners?
Oh yeah, they are not Islamists who travel back/forth to Pakistan.
3000 people killed outright. Billions of dollars in property damage. Billions, maybe trillions of dollars in lost revenue as the economy ground to a halt. Thousands of people stranded when the airlines were grounded for days. Millions of anxious people wondering where the next blow would strike. Our global national security took a hit along with the Pentagon.
But not of that is important to these fools - it's how it affects their party that counts.
Not playing with a full deck! The idea that liberalism is a mental disease is becoming more plausible day by day.
How can any socialist think the next attack by terrorists will strengthen the tea party when they think we are terrorists?
Man.. they REALLY DON’T GET what the Tea Partiers are about, do they?
They fear the Tea Party which is We The People. They’re jig is up; they’re TOAST come November and again in 2012. We found them out.
It’s gone beyond a mental disease. It’s a mental defect.
They do. And it scares the crap out of them.
There is no figuring out this kind of wackiness. They make no sense and most are crazy as loons best we just defeat them in everything they try than to drive ourselves crazy trying to figure them out!
Fox News also said that he was from a rich Pakistani family.
My brother is in Baghdad, he deals with bombings daily. (Btw, it did take a while for the terrorist in Iraq to perfect the car bomb.) He laughed his a$$ off at the “foreclosure” angle.
He has been saying for years, the bombs/suicide bombers are coming.......
Yeah Yeah Yeah, sorry about all those that might die in a terrorist attack. The real tragedy is that the Tea Parties get more members!!
Every single day, several times a day, I read about what some ninny says on these liberal shows and it just blows my mind.
Tyler Drumheller's editor is Philip Turner who is also associated with former ambassador to Gabon Joe Wilson & leftwingnut Murray Waas.
Drumheller was sourced in Jame's Risen's writings involving claims of "torture" by the US and eavesdropping by the NSA.
Drumheller was head of covert ops in Europe until he retired. As we know, al Qaeda's biggest cells successfully operated right under his nose, as did Iraq's intel services.
You’re a walking/typing encyclopedia of knowledge and I appreciate you.
Couldn’t do it without you and FR!
After going all in the bomber was a middle aged disgruntled Tea Party member, MSNBC has to cover it’s ass and spin this another way to attack the Tea Party.
Why was Obama foreclosing on his house?
So all the ones arrested in Pakistan lived in the same forclosed house?
You nailed it.
And this is a huge issue regarding liberals like Matthews: they are primarily concerned about their own power. To them the issue is not the safety of America it is the political fallout.
How warped and demented do they need to be before the people of America see them for what they are?
Maybe he should have paid his mortgage instead of buying airplane tickets.
... because everyone knows the libs are making America weak and vulnerable.
There IS a cause for most people's reaction to things.
After leaving the CIA Baer in late 1997 became a consultant in Beirut Lebanon. For whom I do not not know offhand other than one of the clients was a blacksheep member of Qatar's royalty, but it might explain some of his views. I seem to recall some trouble from a member of the Qatar royal family.
Baer was also a signatory - along with some other notable nuts including many VIPS members, on some toilet paper sent to John McCain :

Isn’t that something . . .they fear the political consequences of another terrorist attack more than they fear the attack itself . . . the Libs really, really care about you and are worried about your well being folks. /sarc
So Chris Matthews is more worried about strengthening the Tea Party movement than dead Americans by a terrorist bomb? As Bugs Bunny would say, “what a maroon”.
.................. how’s that chill workin’ out ,,,,,, ?
That’s what I am thinking...he’s not worried that maybe some innocent people will get killed, worried it might make his incompetent team look bad. These people are deranged.
What a self-important fool Matthew is. He's such a Man Of The World and those of us who disagree with him must be hicks and simpletons.
