They stuffed the hole with the ‘peace dividend’(which no one has seen or heard about any more, either) now there is no more hole!!! :)
The thinning was 10%. This 10% thinning was called a ‘hole’ by the MSM.
Ozone is created where the sun shines. The thinning was always measured over the Antarctic during our summer, and when the sun did NOT shine over the 'effected' area.
It was just one step in a long progression of test of mass credulity.

This hole ozone hole scare smacks of politicized science, the writer cites the banning of CFC from aerosals as the reason for it reverting back to normal, but I’m doubting this is the truth.

You don’t hear about it any more because it is even dumber than Anthropogenic Climate Change. Anyone who took high school chemistry should realize the ozone (O3) is highly reactive, in sufficient concentrations it can burn your respiratory system. The half life of stratospheric ozone is on the order of 3 minutes, and it is being constantly replenished by UV splitting O2 and the little lonely O’s look for O2’s to hang with. This happens over minutes, not years.
