Olympia Snowe - Roundheels
05.07.10 | chickensoup

Posted on 05/07/2010 7:21:26 PM PDT by Chickensoup

In my father's and grandfather's time there was a description for a certain kind of woman. A woman who listened to sweet talk and was despartely easy to pursuaded into compromising postions.

She would have "roundheels" which meant that she would tip over backwards easily and "give it all up" easily.

The more I consider Olympia Snow (RINO) (Maine) the more I feel compelled to ask her to slip off her shoes so I can checkher heels. By gorry Father would have been right, roundheels really exists, and it lives in Maine. Actually it is supported by Maine. Roundheels does all her sliding in Washington.

Olympia is a woman who likes the sweet nothings of the Democrat party whispered in her ears. Faster and more furious the better. She pretends not to tip, time after time, but the Democratic boys all know she is easy.

After the dirty deed is done and she has again capitulated to their questionable charms...face it, Reid... Pelosi...Frank....all grim tumble if ever there was one; well it is afterwards she discoves that she AGAIN, was used.

The nerve! Again she tells the country, her party, and her constinuatns, that she has been had, and that she only consented because they promised the world.

Olympia is used to getting fake diamonds and mink-colored rabbit fur coats. She just doesnt know truth.

Which leads to my second query about Snowe the Senator, who won her seat through nepotism, and holds it through the hard work of the campaign staff.

Is Senator Snowe really as stupid as she seems? Swallowing Democrat lies time and time again like a woman desparate to find love, in all the wrong places

If not stupid, is Olympia Snowe partaking in some sort of scheme of graft, payola or other financial reward to take so many dives on the behalf of the opposing party?

If we were watching sports instead of politics and if the commentary was from ESPAN instead of a lapdog media, thee questions would have been asked and researched long ago.

Yeah, you just insulted women.

This would not be said as a way to criticize a man who had done the same things.

You also insulted HER, personally.

I disagree mightily with much of what he does, and would say so to her face.

But this is extremely personal and tacky.

Never forget that it was Senator Snowe who was the lone Republican who allowed Obamacare to be foisted upon this most unwilling country.

Had she not voted to allow Obamacare out of committee, it never would have made it to the Senate floor.

I take exception to the round heels bit myself. One standard for women, another for men. Bah!

You should check out some of the threads regarding Sen. Graham. Granted the direction they have him bending is not backwards.

Anyway, what recent thing has Olympia done that caused the rant?

I would be happy to write a piece about male politicans who are figuratively led around by their smaller head.

This is more of a long term perspective of her shenanigans in the past 10 months. She is such a loser or a thief.

Hard to tell for sure. I think she’s dim. But you can be dim and a crook, too. Maybe she is gay and wants to hide it...

Ever see the opening scenes in the movie FLYING DOWN TO RIO where they are inspecting the maids’ shoe heels?

Some times you have to speak in terms politicians understand, they seem to be ignoring regular pleas for representation.

Where in the world did you get that idea? Democrats control the committee 13-10.

You are right and I stand very corrected. The vote was 14-9.

Senator Snowe’s vote was very important at the time, and very courted by the Rats. There was some talk that there were several Dems who did not want the bill to come out of committee on a party-line vote. Therefore, there were some Dems who may not have voted as they did had Senator Snowe not voted yes. Or the vote might have been further delayed, which possibly could have been to our advantage as well. But I was wrong in stating that her vote technically made the difference.

Thanks for setting the record straight.

Pretty much all of them in the house and senate have roundheels.
