We benefit either way. If they straighten up and fly right, society benefits. If they don't, they go under, or Rupert Murdoch buys them at a bargain basement price.

Here’s my prediction. Their parent company is desperate to dump them. Face it...Newsweek doesn’t turn any profit at all...and probably needs an infusion of sorts every month or two to survive.

The Newsweek folks will get pushed off to the first folks to buy them. Murdock of Fox enterprises? Yeah, it wouldn’t surprise me if he walks...offers $150 million...and then brings in a brand new staff. Course, half the folks there will leave immediately and find no real employment. Within eight months...Newsweek is then turning a profit and talking of growth. Time looks over and tries to figure out where they screwed up.
