Good Riddance for all time, Arlen Specter! He’s been an ass for years.
To: NormsRevenge
I said it in the other thread and I’ll say it again here: good riddance to one of the most vile, lowlife, scum-sucking gutter rats ever to infect Congress.

With 70% of the vote tallied, Sestak is leading Specter by only 6%. I’m not confident enough to call it for Joe.

I’m sorta disturbed if a Dhimm can take the arch-Dhimm Murtha’s place.
Some people are too stoopid (or evil) to be allowed to vote.

Anybody want to speculate what kind of stuff Spector will try to pull before he is out of the Senate. He switched to the donkeys and they screwed him over.
I'm really looking forward to some unseemly bitter statements in the next few days.

In a fourth race with national implications, Democrat Mark Critz moved ahead of Republican Tim Burns in a contest to fill out the final few months in the term of the late Rep. John Murtha in Pennsylvania. Each political party invested nearly $1 million in that contest and said the race to succeed the longtime Democratic lawmaker was something of a bellwether for the fall.Damn.

(Why does a slight tax increase cost you $200 and a substantial tax cut save you 30 cents?)
To: chesley
You have to know the area. I’m guessing Specter got the boot because he used to be a Republican. That was Sestak’s message to the Dem voters. Sestak showed Specter being endorsed by President Bush and standing beside Sarah Palin in one ad. He’s a phoney baloney and the old people didn’t go for that. BUT they won’t go so far as to vote Republican.

And my all time favorite CSPAN video ...
Arlen walking away from cameras, and he had about two feet of toilet paper hanging from his azz. Recorded a few years ago after his brain surgery.
