Studies on Spiders show the dangers of Drugs Like Marijuana (Very cool Video)

As I told you a few weeks ago, this November the voters of California will decide whether or not marijuana should be legalized or not. In the article, Legalizing Marijuana, So Politicians Can Spend More Money, I gave my reasons for being against the initiative. After all, the last thing we need to do in California is feed the drug habit of politicians by giving them another product to tax millions of dollars on for their already failed programs. That's right, tax dollars is just as addictive to politicians as crack cocaine is to those caught in it's web of short term euphoria. History has shown us that if a politician just smells tax revenue that they will break as many laws as a drug addict to get their fix.

Well there was a scientific study done a few years back on the effects of certain drugs on spiders, and the results were astonishing. What they discovered was that different drugs had different effects on the way the spiders created their webs. The results from these types of studies should help convince those still on the fence about the dangers behind legalizing drugs, even marijuana.

Now this video has been out for anyone willing to watch it for a few years now.  So some of you may have already seen it, but for those who have not, I guarantee you will enjoy it.

But what really bothers me is spiders doing drugs....yikes!

It really should be illegal, for their own good.

a few years back...

Try like almost fifty years ago when the first account of dosing spiders and observing their webs was detailed in the TIME-LIFE science and nature encyclopedia popular in the early 1960's.

I'm calling Shenanigans!

(Because it's all BS) Humans are not spiders, and web building in spiders is an instinct, not a cognitive function. Why use spiders when there are already exhaustive studies of the effects of marijuana in humans?

Eventually, for the heavy pot smoker, the 'high' that they receive from the drug will gradually diminish. This is where studies have shown that the user will attempt to either find more potent marijuana to smoke, or just move onto stronger more dangerous drugs like cocaine, or even heroin.

Sounds like a quote from a 1950's educational film, like the ones I had to watch in Jr. High School.

Funniest part:

The marijuana spider building a hammock where it lay watching the caffeine spider spin like a top all day.

Spiders on marijuana often hallucinate, believing people are crawling all over them.

Now I’ve got this image of a spider sitting back with a joint and a double espresso before he heads off to a hard day spinning webs...

Why do you feel compelled to ban them? Because the GOVERNMENT SAYS SO? I have yet to read ANY history of the WoD and not find, at it's base, some smug, self-rightous, leftist Social Engineer on a power trip. Conservatives are SUPPOSED to be able to research subjects and formulate logical opinions, rather than vomit dogma.

It's like that monster Walter Freeman, who cruised the nation, lobotomizing everyone he could get his hands on. He THOUGHT he was some kind of savior.

You're just going to save everyone! How effing Noble of you!

Isn’t welfare in there somewhere too?

I think we should maybe do some research on the effects to spiders spinning webs after being indoctrinated under different kinds political beliefs.

It kind of makes me think that the capitalist spider will be catching little green flies on mars within a few years.

All the while back on earth all the others will fighting over the hammock built by the marijuana spider, while the gangsta spider runs the world feeding everyone drugs to keep them under control.
