An animal welfare group said Tuesday that a graphic video it secretly recorded shows workers at a dairy farm beating cows with crowbars, stabbing them with pitchforks and punching them in their heads.
The video was recorded in an undercover investigation at Conklin Dairy Farms Inc., said Mercy For Animals, a not-for-profit group that publicizes what it calls cruel practices in the dairy, meat and egg industries and promotes a vegan diet.

Oh, yeah, that makes a lot of sense. Have actors sneak in to the farm and pose as farm workers, then go to the authorities and try to have, what, the actors prosecuted for cruelty?
There are psychos hiding out in every profession, and every political party.
In cases such as this video, it is important to weed the psychos out and prosecute them. The ‘anti this-and-that groups’ will always find and film the psychos - then use the film as propaganda for their cause.
We need to rally against the psychos in this video.
Traumatized cows don’t give the maximum abount of milk. That being said, it’s possible that you’ve got some low-end workers who aren’t properly supervised.

There are people that live to put the hurt on other people or animals. It is often hard for normal people to understand that because they feel no such urges. We need to understand this to be able to deal with it, just like we need to understand the pedophile can no more give up his or her urges to molest than a heterosexual can stop being attracted to the opposite sex.
I favor a devils island approach for the latter, and for animal sadists, perhaps they should be tied on the ground and have the animals trample and kick them.

You do realize, don’t you, that this is one sick little bastard doing all of the cruelty? What’s more, it is NOT an “undercover video”. The perp is quite aware that he is being filmed; in several places he positions himself to give a better camera shot of what he is doing.

I agree with you. Animals rights wackos have filmed themselves abusing animals before while blaming others. They release the videos to the MSM who always seem to spread just the story the animal rights type want.

These are isolated incidents. They are cruel and the people should be prosecuted, but the last thing we need in this country is a national campaign to throw more government regulations on farmers.
Can we say 20.00 a pound beef? 6.00 a gallon milk? Really.
