Chris Freind interviews U.S. Senate candidate Joe Sestak about his role in "Job Gate"--- the possible quid pro quo job offer from the White House in exchange for Sestak abandoning the race. Criminal implications for both White House officials and Congressman Sestak are discussed.

If this was a quid pro quo arrangement, (which by your words it would seem to be), that would be against the law....so Number 1, (if that is the case) do you let the White House get away with that crime, and Number 2, could your silence be construed as obstruction, of aiding and abetting?

SESTAK: I don't really care what Dick Durbin says....he's the Establishment of Washington, D.C. I appreciate Dick Durbin. But I've already demonstrated that when the Establishment thinks it can dictate what's right for Pennsylvanians....who have lost hundreds of thousands of jobs...I'm not going to let Washington or anyone else dictate what I'm going to speak about....

I answered this question honestly. Others have to stand up for their accountability and what their role is..."

Still stonewalling. I wonder if he considered the consequences of his statement when he made it several months ago. It looks like it will seal his fate in the election because the press is going to keep hounding him about it.

Avoiding the independent counsel suggestion...will only make wins in November for the Democrats more difficult. If they don’t act by early July...I’d cross off another four democratic senators who thought they had a fair chance of winning.

But knowing how things work...I’m thinking that the White House will appoint an independent Commission (seven Democrats and five Republicans) to survey what happened, and report the final results by December (after the election). Note, this will require offering another dozen no-salary jobs to some more folks. Do we have anyone else that needs a “special favor”?

Concealing the truth and trying to figure out what else to say that won't be a lie. Still a glimmer of conscience there. Next comes the baldfaced lie without batting an eye. Sestak is still a little new at this.

Sestak is lying by not telling the whole truth. He claims he had one, single solitary very short conversation with Bill Clinton on the phone. He even went so far as to say he almost cut the ex-president off when he started to make the offer- kinda like in those cartoons where a guy can reach through the phone and punch the character on the other end. Yet, if you read Bob Bauer's statement:
Efforts were made in June and July of 2009 to determine whether Congressman Sestak would be interested in service on a Presidential or other Senior Executive Branch Advisory Board

That's efforts as in more than once. And notice how that's worded. It doesn't say they contacted Joe Sestak in June and July. But it certainly could mean Clinton or some other emissary contacted someone in his campaign with another offer. Now who could that other person be and what was the offer? Why not the same person the White House contacted this week- Joe's brother Richard who is his top campaign adviser and lawyer. Apparently, this is something Joe hopes nobody else notices.

There is a giant hole in this story that seems to have been missed by the MSM, and it is this. Clinton said he communicated through Sestak's brother, and Sestak said he spoke directly with Clinton. Normally I'd have to think that one of them is lying, but since they are both slimy politicians I think it's more likely that they are both lying.

I saw the original video when He first spoke of a job offer and when asked if it was Sec Of The Navy, Sustek replied NO COMMENT.

So they are all covering for Obama.Sestak was probably offered DOMETHING we will never know to hush.

Prior to yesterday he was an innocent recipient of a possible illegal activity. When he colluded with them in a cover up he became part of the illegal activity and has now implicated himself.

Unfortunately (fortunately in my opinion because I think the top echelons of government are utterly corrupt and we do NOT have a legal President in office) for Barry, this story is a very big brick and it has legs. Long strong legs.
