Instead of quelling a growing outcry for more information on an alleged political bargain, the White House has raised more questions and calls for an investigation after its shocking revelation on Friday that it recruited former President Bill Clinton to pitch a possible administration role to Rep. Joe Sestak if he would sit out the Pennsylvania Democratic Senate primary.

F. Lee Levin thinks this is a slam-dunk case. The White House letter is a confession. The trial shouldn't take but two days.

The constant drip, drip, drip is front and center. The Friday news dump before a long weekend will not work this time. Clinton burned that option out. People have become too aware of the Washington tricksters.

The WH 'release' was little more than a repackaging of Gore's 'no governing authority' rationale when he was caught violating the law.

The press will hound 0 for a while, then everyone will yawn and wait for their next entitlement to kick in.

No, I’m flat-assed tired of the “Nothing Here, Move On” attitude. It’s about time to hold the asshats accountable.

Well what I would like to know is WHAT did old Bill get for dropping a dime to Sestak? Old Bill does nothing for nothing. Surely there had to be understood a confidentiality agreement when he took this job...

Maybe the Spector can be the special prosecutor and investigate this matter.... Like the Warren Commission, this can be the Spector Commission... because come next January old Spector is in need of a job.

I'm with you -- I'm pushing for the Tea Party to be the groundswell that flushes the cr@p out of the toilet that the federal government has become.

The blessing in all of this is that we have finally seen through the obfuscations, misdirections and just simple lies. The BS isn’t going to fly anymore. What did Bill get? Who cares? It was simply illegal, unethical and immoral. Bo is just A Chicago, corrupt, politician and we, the people, aren’t going to buy it anymore. BO has brought the seamy underbelly of politics into the sunlight, forced the citizens to smell it, and we have declared it unacceptable. America will not accept this kind of corruption.

Actually, the President’s folks couldn talk Arlen Spector into retiring now from the senate and accept a special counsel position to investigate this. Course then, we’d have to ask Arlen what his deal was and wait six months to explain that Jimmy Carter was the guy who offered him the job....there might be something funny to this business.

Your use of “BO” reminded me of BO Plenty. Are you old enough to remember him? Simply holding our nose isn’t going to get rid of the stink coming from Washington.

This has just about played out.

Next week we won’t hear about it any longer.

IMO they are trying Blago fo pretty much the same thing and the bama boy should be forced into testifying at that tril also, but he has been covered for there.

I was surprised they tapped an impeached liar-in-chief to be their go-between. Is Slick willing to commit perjury a second time? The courts won’t go so easy on him the second time around.

There is no law for democrats. They make it up as they go along.

What is needed s a change in the rules that permanently removes them from history.

But critics say the offer may have violated a U.S. statue that says, "Whoever, directly or indirectly, promises any employment, position, compensation…appointment…

May have violated this, may have violated that blah blah blah blah................! So what?

First, there is nobody with authority to do something about it, willing to do so. Second, the opposition (Republicans) don't really want prosecution just before the elections because they will be labeled as racists for attacking the Magic N _ _ _ _.

Therefore, the only reason this matter is seeing any daylight at all is for the soundbites to be used in ads for the November and 2012 elections. Don't let all the shouting and bravado behavior of Republicans fool you into believing they really care.

“Reps. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., and Lamar Smith, R-Texas, sent a letter Friday to FBI Director Robert Mueller urging the bureau to open an investigation. “

And you expect this mealy mouthed creep Mueller to do anything?

He is too busy with his task force investigating “Right Wing Christian Militias”

What color is the sky in your world? It will be a colossal YAWN with the American people. Far more interested in” American Idol”, “Dancing with the Stars”, and soap operas/Oprah/Dr. Phil to care.

So Obama bought off Arlen to get the 60th HC vote? I wonder if that makes the whole HC legislation illegal? The American people are now slaves and 1/6 of our economy is now under the purview of Obama bureaucrats. Obama has his boot on our throats. And come to find out it was greased with a bribe to Arlen? Lovely, simply lovely.
