Take a lesson from your own page!!!
When we see the President of the United States & his family, out in public, looking like rag-pickers...we have a duty to show our contempt!
Remember the media meme for George HW Bush? The “wimp factor”?
The Pravda Media is silent on the metrosexual in chief.
When I see people wearing sandals the last thing that jumps to my mind is Gee, they must be Muslims.
To 33 - LMAO!!!
i spent quite a bit of time in the middle east... and if you ever ride an escalator over there, assuming you can find one, you can’t help but stare at the feet in front of your face... usually in horrid condition... and always in sandals.
in the US, i have not been exposed to such a thing... except at beaches... sandal wearing has been fairly uncommon on MEN, especially older men. women are a different story.
i’ll try to take notice today as i go out for dinner. being in florida, if it is a prevalent as you indicate, i should see them everywhere.
Wow, can we say elitist? I knew you could. Not only don't they look like "rag-pickers", they look like most of the people I know, mostly professional people, dressed appropriately for taking a walk.
The coarseness, mindlessness and downright meanness on this thread demonstrates that there is a serious amount of insecurity among many FReepers.
This thread is not about showing contempt for the presidents policies or leadership follies but it's about criticizing the way he, and his family, looks. The depth of this shallowness would make a DUer blush.
I have been to tea parties with people of every description, fat, skinny, long hair, short hair, in dresses and in jeans. Some are old and wrinkled and some are pretty with smooth skin. Some are articulate and some have trouble articulating. Anyone who would denigrate these people because of their appearance is a fool. It's the message, not the messenger that is important.
We can only defeat the liberals by convincing people that their policies and what they are doing to our Country is wrong. We will never win back political control by calling others names like six year olds on the playground.
Our Citizens and our Country is greater than that, and so is FreeRepublic.
LOL! I didn’t even notice the difference at first.
Go into Target. Stacks and stacks of sandals for sale. I don’t think only Muslims are buying them.
I was thinking the same thing. Here at the beach we all wear sandals.
right on! rofl
You make some valid pts but you have to admit that post #33 is very funny.
LOL!
My WORD!! That woman even WALKS with her arms crossed?!! What do the psychologist say about that?
Someone took away her boob belt?
“We can only defeat the liberals by convincing people that their policies and what they are doing to our Country is wrong. We will never win back political control by calling others names like six year olds on the playground”
That would be true in a perfect world. Since the voters in the US elected Obama, we don’t have that....Many of his voters don’t care about “policies.” They care about getting government handouts from a really “cool” guy....
(laughing a little). No, like most black men, we are the "short-haired" variety of humans. We look hairless on our chest and arms, but it's just that the hair is so short you can't see it except up close.
Two things, go back to DU and second KMA. Take your insults and go somewhere people may care. You are a disgusting apologist for this gay, muslim, anti-American, commie POS. He and his family are fair game, just like the press feels all Republicans are. If you don't like the comments in this thread, then just do read them.
“When I see people wearing sandals the last thing that jumps to my mind is Gee, they must be Muslims.”
When I see men wearing sandals, the first thing that jumps to MY mind is “Grow up!”. If you plan on walking in a river, or are ON the beach, OK. Otherwise, I don’t want to see your stinking feet!
BTW - I live in southern Arizona. Folks who wear sandals MUST be city folks...too many thorns and things with stingers to wear sandals where I live.
He may not shave his arms, but my 12 year old daughter has more muscle in her forearms than our CINC. Hair or no hair, there is something wrong with a ‘man’ whose watch could slide to his armpit without difficulty.
