It's not only Israels postion....but Russia has to make her mad rush to the south yet...and with China getting very cozy with Russia now, this too is interesting to follow...as well Syrias movements which could open up the Damascus prophecy.....and there is a shifting in alignment of nations occurring throughout the wold stage...which is most interesting. But we all recognize God can step into this and slow it all down as he has in the past......that is the key...the timing and hour for things to occur are not ours to know...but we are told to watch...stay alert...because we don't know that hour. The facts are that at some time and place prophecey does and will be fullfilled and the question for each is are they ready.
To many of us, it is breaking news. If you include G-D in your life, it is Big News. If it is not important to you.... well then, fine- don’t read it. But do not ridicule those who believe that it is. You can choose to believe it or not. America, is wonderful that way (at least for now....).
As for “is it real?” Well.... if you study the scriptures and have been following the prophecies, signs, and the writings of the Holy Niviim (the Hebrew Prophets)- and there hundreds of them, then you will notice that they have been taking place, like clockwork, and exactly as written.
The Rabbis who made these announcements are not idiots. They are noted, widely respected, Rabbinic scholars. They do not make statements like this, unless there is damn good reason to.
But please show some kindness and respect for those who take this seriously.

I am not student of Bible, but it seems there are many many examples of Israel being left standing on their own before this event, and many more will happen (especially with this sumbeech in the WH). So that theoretical clock may have started long ago, recently, or not at all.
Just some folks ho don’t like it that we pray for Israel. I just get the Religion Moderator to pull the comments. You see the detritus every once in a while on the thread. LOL.

While I agree that this is almost certainly part of the alignment that is taking place for Ez38-39, I have become convinced that the prophecy of Psalm 83 comes first. The anti-Israel alliance of Ez38-39 does not include the Palestinians or any of Israel’s immediate neighbors. It’s exceedingly unlikely that all these would sit on their hands while Israel was being attacked. The more likely scenario is that something happens beforehand that takes the ring of neighbors out of play. I believe the war prophesied in P83 is that event.
